Hilton Garden Inn Clarksville

I've traveled all my life and have stayed in hundreds of Hilton properties. This property is the worst I have ever experienced; it should be dropped as a Hilton property. The new rooms are dark; only the desk light is actually a light. The bedside and corner lights don't light, they barely glow. The stool in the bathroom is a cheap, 1960s mobile home-style unit that constantly clogs. If you are going to stay in a newly remodeled room, take a powerful flashlight to find the switch to turn off the lights and a toilet plunger to unplug the stool. The old rooms are really old. The dining room carpet is seriously worn and filthy. I fell when I stubbed my foot on a huge wrinkle in the old carpet--not much fun if you're in your 80s. I could go on, but I'll never stay in this property again. Never.

Location

No coffee, no breakfast, and rude morning staff. The bathroom needs ceiling work. Toilet is at height for a kindergartener.

Didn't get breakfast, but the location was fine.

I had to wait to check in because the people behind the desk was too busy playing on their phone & showing each other pictures/videos. Then someone else was just sitting around in the back. They pretty much ignore me until I clear my throat.
