The spa & wellness, clean and new room, location

The spa would be open from 07.00 till 19.00. I arrived at The spa at 07.00 all the lights were off and nothing worked; cold sauna, empty jacuzzi, cold shower, outside pool closed. I stayed at the spa till 09.50 talked to the cleaner (very nice guy (Robin)) but he couldn’t help me. I was not amused because I chose this hotel because of the spa and woke up very early to enjoy my last day. With the check out the receptionist was not there and had to walk to the restaurant to ask for help. Could not pay cash because the bill was to big. The girl from the restaurant did what she had to do but not nice like I am used to in a hotel. On paper it’s an amazing place and I still really enjoyed but the experience with the spa and the girl is not the hospitality I am used to from a 4 star hotel. Nevertheless I had an amazing 2 nights and I hope the owner does something with this feedback because when he does this hotel would be a 10/10

Spectacular hotel in perfect location in Val Gardena. Incredibly clean, well maintained and well appointed with spa, outdoor pool, steam and saunas. Lucas( the owner) is fully present everyday to help with questions, wine recommendations from his fabulous wine cellar, and suggestions for daily ski outings. Easy access to the hills via hotel shuttle. Meals were terrific, rooms are renovated and beautifully appointed, beds very comfy and spectacular views from every direction!

Breakfast was great! I like the shuttle in the morning. I really liked the indoor outdoor pool, and sauna. I especially liked it when Alexandria and Martina dressed in traditional clothing!!

The hot tub wasn’t hot enough. I also didn’t like being charged for tap water.

Amenities-sauna, warm room, pool, hot tub, outdoors w views all outstanding.

The room was warmer than I’m used to, but certainly not a negative by any means.

The food was amazing. The amenities were superb. The owners are super friendly and helpful.

Nothing. I could not recommend any changes as every detail was there perfecto!!!

Great hotel in a nice area. Lovely included spa, food was good and had an on-site brewery! Very friendly staff. A bit of a walk to the slopes but there was a morning shuttle bus.

Fantastic property with amazing views from balconies bedecked in flowers. The staff are excellent and helpful. The chambermaid is a lovely happy lady and the young man with spectacles who runs the bar is excellent. The Manager shows interest in the residents and his staff which was refreshing The spa area and pool are lovely with a beautiful infinity pool and hot tub taking advantage of the spectacular views The rooms are clean and well appointed. The breakfast and evening meal were great with variety and Covid practices of mask at the buffet are in place. The town is down quite a steep hill but taken slowly you do get used to it A nice walk by the hotel along the old railway is fairly flat and full of information We made the trip up the two chair lifts to Saslong and walked across before coming down. Do check the times of the chairlift as it is a long walk if you miss both lifts. Also walking boots and clothing would be a benefit. It can be quite cold at the top. We were provided with free bus tickets for the duration of our stay but I cannot advise on the service as we preferred to walk. Excellent hotel and town. I would definitely return if in the area again

The breakfast and evening meal times are quite rigid and in the evening do not run late. A minor thing and a small inconvenience on the day we did a long walk into the late afternoon. The bar area has a lovely feel. We enjoyed chatting with other travellers from other countries. However when full there is no alternative sitting area such as a lounge to sit and read or drink into the evening.

This hotel provided us with half board - Breakfast and Dinner and wow did they deliver.....certainly not a weight loss holiday! Facilities especially the pool area worth the trip. The hotel is well sited for views across the valley, proximity to the town and transport but this is the mountains so plenty of stairs that keep you short of breathe. We had a car which helped us get around the valley. The bus service for skiers is pretty good but crowded the week we were there as it was mid-terms I cant stress enough how good this property and the team are. Will be back.

+ Location of the hotel, cleanliness of the room and wellness area are fine. - The quality of the food is clearly under average. Cheap and sometimes old ingredients and nót tastefully prepared and lacks variation as could be expected from a 4 star hotelrestaurant in Italy. The offered vegetarian alternatives were very bad. The hotelowner, dominantly present, is quick to take offence and is absolutely not service oriented. The only available beer is brewed in the hotel is a turbid beer , that tastes like lemonade. Only after much insistence the owner was prepared to get other beer from outside , wich he called "commercial", something that his own beer probably will never become. After an unpleasant discussion with the owner we were offered a refund of €35 p.p.p.d. if we would agree to have dinner outside the hotelrestaurant. That was an offer we took with both hands for the duration of the last three days of our stay.
