Hacienda Na Xamena, Ibiza

One of the most beautiful quiet resorts we have stayed at, the food was amazing, spa services were also great. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be in Ibiza but not on the party side.

The view is what makes this hotel 5*. It is stunning - whether you are by the pool or from your room. We were here on our honeymoon and they gave us a complimentary bottle of cava which was nice. Breakfast and the staff at breakfast were both fabulous. Eden restaurant was great. Some beautiful hikes from the hotel however you have to pay for things like the yoga and organized hiking group.

Unfortunately, apart from the view, we did not feel like the rest of this hotel matches up to what other 5* hotels offer in Ibiza. Our room was very small, with very limited storage space and surfaces, a basic TV and a small cramped bathroom. The balcony was a tiny glass box, with just one chair and it very up close and personal to the people next door. This wasn't really shown in the pictures. Also, we did not feel like the service was top quality either from some of the staff, for example room service who never showed up when we called for an iron and an ice bucket. You also have to pay to use the spa facilities (sauna, heated pools etc) - this is the infinity pool from the pictures which has the incredible view over the ocean - in other hotels this is included. The food in the pool restaurant was ok quality but the cocktails were not great.

I stayed in the hotel last week and the hotel is beautiful with a stunning pool. The views are beautiful from the room. My experience with the room wasn’t great however with the jacuzzi and tv not working. I was offered an option of a free upgrade. I was transferred to the new room which was much smaller with better views. The food at the hotel is not great especially during the day. The evening food we had for a special occasion was terrible. Probably the worst I’ve ever had at a 5 star hotel.

Beautiful property and amazing views! Staff are also very helpful, we really enjoyed our stay!

My only comment is about the road leading to the hotel, on a mountain, it’s very dangerous and can be much safer if the hotel added more signs and more fences for security in the dangerous areas
