The noise just outside on the street was a bit much

There was an event with exceedingly loud music outside the front door past 2:00 am Location for the entertainment should be away from hotels and residents.

Excellent location, very well decorated, and a hotel with classy charm. Good breakfast served in the inner courtyard. The attention is personalized. A special thank you to Tanya, a real professional who knows how to solve issues with discretion and a smile. Ramon will take care of you to make your meals a moment to remember.

Charming place. Perfect location.

This colonial style hotel has been updated and is very elegant inside. The location is very convenient for walking around at night as it is in the restaurant area and just steps away from the center park. The staff (especially the older gentleman that does the breakfast) was very helpful and was overall a wonderful experience.

Nothing to mention

Welcome by all staff was very warm and friendly. Justin on give us lots of advice and arrange a Volcano tour with a super guide Harold. Hotel very well located, near the central square and restaurants and bars and other places to visit. Lovely old building with calm garden quadrangles.

The hotel is beautiful : it reminded us of palaces of the nobility we had seen in Seville, Spain, with its lovely central courtyard surrounded by arcades with antique furniture. It is right in the center of town with many of the best restaurants and attractions within two blocks. The staff were very welcoming and friendly: one made our day by keeping bringing us coffee for the included breakfast with such grace.

We had to change from our initial room at the front with its beautiful high ceilings and view of the volcano, to a tiny room with no view - and it was better. The noise issue on the street-facing rooms 101-105 is extremely serious. It is not just traffic or voices: three bars just outside place huge speakers in their doors and play music at top volume starting at 4 and finishing after 2.30am. We found it impossible to sleep with reggaeton and Latino techno deity distortion from multiple sources coming close to shaking the room for hour after hour. Do stay here but settle for a less nice room with no noise.

The check in process, the attentiveness of their staff was outstanding. The breakfast was excellent! I really liked the fact that it was so close "the calzada" which offers so many dining and nightlife options. We were traveling with two little ones (5 and 10) and they really loved this hotel
