Iberostar Selection Albufera Playa - All Inclusive

Great resort, right on the beach, lots of activities for all ages.

Everything was perfect. Staff was polite. Room was clean. Food was excellent.

Amazing staff, great hotel, tasty food to please everyone. Beach is lovely, very safe for children. Highly recommended for families with kids.

Food was excellent! Staff really good! Entertainment was good. Pool side bar service would have made vacation better! Found the rooms to be a little noisy!

Our kid was happy with the facilities, kids animation is good. The staff is really helpfull. Beautiful beach just in front of the hotel. During our 4 days stay there was a steady smell from sewage. For some reason, you can't switch off a light at your balcony, they do it after 23 for everyone.

We loved this hotel. The rooms are modern, clean and have a nice balcony. We did the all-inclusive and the food was some of the best all inclusive food we’ve ever had at a resort. The beach, is seriously amazing. One of the most beautiful I have ever seen. There are no private beaches, but you can rent an umbrella and chairs right in front of the hotel. Pools are big and nice but we didn’t spend much time by them. There is not much of a night life here, but they had evening shows. We saw a lot of families. Also, there are 2 Iberostars next to each other that connect and share all the same amenities including restaurants. We loved this place and even changed travel plans to stay an extra day.

Nice beach, great facilities, clean/comfortable rooms, incredible breakfast, friendly staff and a large bar selection... what more do you need?!

Nice hotel, but there were marks on the blanket which was a big put off on day one of our arrival. On next day, We went for lunch at the restaurant. As we got in there was no one around to guide us to the table and therefore we just found a table by ourselves. However a few minutes later 4 different staff started enquiring about our room numbers etc. At another point they all started talking to one another in spanish and everyone eyeing and pointing towards us. I am still unsure what the commotion was all about. This made us feel very uncomfortable and on this particular day the staff made us feel really really Unwelcome. Swimming pool was always cold too. Great range of food, very clean restaurant.

Good hotel with good facilities but let down by noisy rooms. We stayed in a Star Prestige double room but would appear to be just same as other doubles which would all suffer the same fault. Noise from other rooms and no way of making room dark at night as hallway light on walk way outside would be on all the evening plus noise from other rooms easily heard plus the inevitable suit cases being lugged around making a lazy wake up impossible unless I guess you are a heavy sleeper. Moved to another room - a double suite - hoping this would solve our issues but no. Could even hearing someone sneezing in adjoining room. Soundproofing clearly an issue which ever room you take. Aside from that you had to pay for the safe in the room of 24 euros I think of which you only get 10 back ! Normally you just pay a deposit and get it all back no ? One more odd thing was the seemingly horrible smell of sewage at various points of the hotel - mainly entering reception from the pool side and out in thew very pleasant surrounding woods where you can have a lovely walk. Food good staff good but feel in peak season it would be quite chaotic. Doubt I will go back or even book a large hotel ever again purely for the potential of noise from other rooms. Sorry if this appears to be a minor gripe but given you go away from peace and a rest noise from maybe 7am does not give me that feeling.

The hotel had friendly staff that were always willing to assist. The food was excellent. The environment was clean and well maintained. The greenery was looked after on a daily basis and the swimming pools were all kept clean.This was my second visit to the hotel and I was not disappointed. There is live entertainment each night to suit all age groups.The beach was Clare blue with clean sand, the beach is walking distance from the hotel and it is surrounded with breathtaking mountains. I strongly recommend this hotel to others,especially families with young children.
