BlueBay Villas Doradas Adults Only-All Inclusive

I was searching for all inclusive adults only resort and this showed up on the list. I saw the some videos on Tik Tok and was sold. We got there and the whole staff were accommodating and friendly. The rooms were very simple. The only thing I didn’t like was the hand held shower head (it kept coming off)and they didn’t have enough lounge chairs that people were fighting over them. Both at the poolside and beach. Overall the food and alcohol were great. The staff was working VERY hard. Please don’t overlook and take care of them by tipping. What a great experience and had a great time.

I have traveled for close to 40 years to different countries. This resort is not a 4 or 41/2 as stated. I read reviews and decided to give it a try. I don't expect things to be perfect and I'm not a fancy person when traveling, your not at home, but there have been so many issues with this resort. The people are very friendly as always in the Dominican, they were great at the resort. These are the issues we had. Air conditioner stopped working 3 times, door lock broke, wifi doesn't work, it's off more then its on, drinks very watered down or just not good at all ( see pics suppose to be a frozen kolua and milk ), food is average or below, lack of pool lounges and many they do have are ripped, torn or broken ( see pics ) I counted 2 umbrellas only around the pool so not a lot of shade, lack of lounges on the beach and all the lounges are all packed in a square area. This resort has not been updated it says in 2006 yrs and it shows. My recommendation is save your money. If you don't care about food etc and just come for the sun then it's a place to go. If you enjoy a good variety of food, drinks, comfortable rooms, good drinks etc then go elsewhere.

I enjoyed my time at Blue Bay, the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfy. The animation team were amazing, always had daily activities on the go, super friendly staff everywhere. The nighttime shows were full of energy and fun. There was alot of food at the buffet, never left hungry or disappointed. There are times the buffet closes to restock but there is amazing fried chicken at the beach bar, there is always food to snack on. Our room is huge however getting coffee and sugar seems to be an issue. Service was not very good in the Buffett was only asked once if we would like anything else to drink, had to get up and get our own coffee. The entertainment crew was awesome ! Duracell, Lisbeth, Nellie are all amazing!! Everyone is so much fun they interacted with everyone. We love you Lisbeth!!! Muah 💋

I had such a lovely time at the resort! The staff here are so warm and fun. The food was good and you could book special cuisines at the restaurants around the villa. The entertainment staff do a great job with daytime and nighttime activities . Drinks were amazing too!

I stayed here for 7 days with my friends and it was a very positive experience! The food is very good, as a vegetarian I was able to eat every meal. The resort itself is clean and beautiful and the entertainment throughout the day and the evenings is fantastic, we were never bored. The staff are amazing! Everyone is welcoming, friendly, and fun. Overall great trip!

Food was good, Jade Garden was the best a la carte we have ever been to. We weren't impressed eith the steak house, the Italian was good. We didn't try the seafood as you only receive 3 per week. Buffet was ok and there was always something to eat. They were very sporadic in getting beverages and sometimes ran out of plates. Rooms were clean and dated. Only water was replaced daily. Bring your own umbrella as there is very little shade. Beach is lovely, vendors annoying. We would return.

The staff was amazing and very entertaining. Loved my experience at Blue Bay. I have been here at the resort six times.
