Breakfast was great. The facilities were really nice. The room was excellent I loved it. The staff were friendly. Will book again!

So. Hampton Inn & Suites. A respectable name. The kind of name that promises comfort, peace, fluffy towels and a quiet night’s sleep. What I got instead was one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. And yes – that’s across two different continents. Let’s start with the lobby. There was so much water on the floor that I genuinely wondered if I’d accidentally booked an indoor marina. The pool is placed so “brilliantly” that everyone – kids, adults, whoever – runs soaking wet straight through the lobby to the elevators. The entire floor was flooded. At this point, bringing a canoe would have felt reasonable. Then we get to the room. The walls aren’t thin. They’re not even very thin. They are made of paper. Actually, worse – paper that someone already crumpled. Next door: loud music. Shouting. Screaming. Laughing. It honestly felt like the people from the neighboring room weren’t next door at all – they were sitting on our bed with drinks. I thought: “Alright… it’s only 7 PM. Maybe people are just enjoying themselves.” Nope. People were running drunk and high between rooms all evening. The hallway felt less like a hotel corridor and more like a badly managed nightclub – just with carpet. At 11 PM, I gave up. Went to the front desk. Calm. Polite. Explained: “We’re here with family. With kids. Could something be done?” The look I got was… fascinating. Somewhere between: Who is this weirdo? Why is he complaining? Old man, let people have fun For the record – I’m not old. I just didn’t come to Moncton for a rave. At 1 AM, one last attempt. I asked: “Either make it quiet, or please move us to another room.” The response? Let’s say I was politely but very clearly told to go away. No shouting. No drama. Just total indifference. The conclusion? This is not a family hotel. This is not a place to rest. And it’s definitely not what you expect from anything with the word Hilton in it. And no. I will never stay there again.
