Great place! Perfect for a get-away trip. We felt spoiled by all amenities and attention from the staff.

Amazing hidden gem! We only stayed for one night, but were so spoiled. All the amenities were lovely, wine tasting with charcuterie, breakfast, pool and hot tub. Perfect couples get away!

The Japanese ryokan concept was nice. The room was spacious and comfortable.

The hot water kettle would have been better than the hot water dispenser at the wet bar. However many ways we tried, I could never have hot tea or coffee. I would also clean all windows… Being Japanese and spending lots of time at great Ryokans in Japan, small “omotenashi”details matter to me. If someone stays more than one night, make sure to provide new soap for the second night. Bathrooms need to be spotless like the first day, hot things need to be served hot while cold things would be definitely cold…

Very nice property for calm, peace, relaxation. Exactly what we were looking for. Limited number of guests. Everyone seemed to be looking for quiet and comfort and this fit the bill. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and mimosas in the am. Took advantage of a quiet hot tub in the evening. My only negative was the location didn’t allow for an easy walk around anywhere off of the property. No fault of the property, it’s just where the hotel is.

From start to finish, highest marks I can give. The staff could not have been more gracious, kind and helpful. The grounds and rooms were beautiful, luxurious and peaceful. The bathroom alone with that big gorgeous tub made me want to stay longer. Don’t miss the pool area! Our stay was filled with nice touches…the wine and cheese evening, the available free beverages (water, tea, sake, port), fresh baked cookies (really good!) and a filling and delicious breakfast complete with mimosas. This place is a lovely escape in every way. We’ll definitely be back!

Where can I start? This place is nestled in quaint Glen Ellen, with a spacious property and plenty of privacy. So many high- touch amenities- a glass of campaign when you check in, afternoon wine and cheese hosted by local wineries, a nightcap sake bar, and complementary breakfast. We used the pool, hot tub, the meditation room, and we had a fire pit all to ourselves ( there are two fire pits). We stayed in the main house, and had our own external entrance and private patio. We would definitely stay here again. Close to so many wineries

My wife and I came here for my birthday and picked this location as a last minute find. The venue is excellent with its rooms, amenities and staff. I will not reveal all the other benefits, but perhaps you can call the hotel to learn more. We enjoyed the one night stay. Our room was ready before check in and they immediately texted us around 1pm (check in is at 4pm). Furthermore, the hotel has a very relaxed indoor/outdoor ambience, daily 430-530 wine tasting with hors d'oeuvres, with some great wines from the vitners around the area. Outdoor heated pool, with a yoga den, and a jacuzzi accompany a few outdoor decks that people can enjoy with its outdoor fireplaces. The venue also has some great selection of ports and sake as well. Breakfast is quite nice as well. We would stay here for the centralized Sonoma experience. The venue is not too far a drive away from many places, a few parks, observatories and the lke. The hotel manager (she is great and forgot her name) and Yuri have been quite helpful. They said, even after check out, one can stay and enjoy the amenities if they wanted too. Great choice of towels/linens/toiletries. We did recommend this place to our friends on Face/gram.

What an absolutely amazing hidden oasis. From the first moment you step into their guest house, you feel like a you have entered a little hidden gem. Quiet, quaint, with delicious wine hour, great breakfast and extremely kind personnel. I will definitely be coming back!! Also, couldn’t have asked for a better location.
