Look elsewhere! This is not the kind of "hotel" where you want your family to stay. Don't fall for the "bay view" scam and don't dare to pay extra for it. There is none from your room. The hotel is perpendicular to the Abbey. The restaurant has the view. We asked and paid extra for a "bay view room" and got a "wall view" literally. The lady at the front end/ check-in was not very helpful, had to ask for the Manager (twice) who tried to help, but not enough (there is no "bay view" and refuse to give us any credit/ excused himself based on total occupancy of the hotel, but we made our reservation well in advance, so there is no reason for what happened because they don't have what they sell). The only good thing of this place is its location. However, keep in mind that there are other hotels in the area with the same good location and transportation to the Abbey. In a future trip we will not stay at this property nor recommend it. There are flies in the reception area and at check in we were not provided with the access code to the building, so you know what happened upon returning late at night. There is no a/c in the rooms, hair drier was not good and beds were not standard size. For its own good, hotels sites should review the hotel offering as you all are deceiving, you are selling something that your supplier can't deliver. Totally disappointed.

Most hotels allow access to your booked room from around 14.00, however as we arrived earlier than expected we asked at the reception desk about what time we could access the room, time being 14.15. Told not til 15.00, so went to a bar had a drink in the sunshine, some others arrived around 15.20 and told the rooms not ready until 16.30. Room finally accessed at just before 17.00. Room was nothing more that a large cupboard, could not get round either side of bed. We had even paid extra for upgraded room so wonder what the standard rooms were like.

This is meant to be a 3star hotelNo record of our booking on arrival I had to ring the hotel 3 times before any one answered the phone twice I was given the wrong code for the barrier the corridor is badly in the need of a new carpet and a coat of paint as was the door to the room We had a drink down stairs in the bar area what a total rip off a pint of beer cost 11euro I most certainly won't be going there again

Difficult to get through the gate due to language problems. Nobody to advise.

Arrived here before 4pm and advised to wait in bar for 10-15 mins for room. Latest update at least an hour. Customer service sadly lacking - no offer of a complementary drink. Cafe area bar full of glasses waiting to be washed. Not impressed...

+ great location, close to the bridge to Mont Saint Michel + good breakfast with nice view on Mont Saint Michel + rooms were fine, clean and had the facilities that I expected - noise of machinery during night time - no receptionist, I had to go to a different hotel (same owner I guess) for checking in and out - restaurant opens at 19:00 until 21:00. True, this applies to all the restaurants in the village near the bridge, but we found it VERY annoying. In restaurants on the island itself the opening times are different - parking situation is very weird. We did actually call ahead to get a code, we got a code. And then the code didn't work. We were told to take a ticket, which ended up costing 28 euro instead of 9 euro for the parking code. We just took it because we had to leave for our next destination, but it left a bad taste All in all I think you don't have much other options if you want to stay this close to Mount St Michel without staying on the island itself. The hotel was fine, but definitely has some room for improvements.

Pros: great location to MSM. Reception was courteous during check in and check out. Cons: At first glance the room looked okay, but when pulling the curtains back to open the windows, there was mold lining one of the windows. Had I noticed the mold earlier, I would have requested to change rooms but was not going to change rooms after dinner when we were leaving first thing in the morning. Reception said they would address the mold but was not offered any compensation nor did I request anything. Did not eat at the restaurant based on other reviews.

Very good hotel, nice bathroom, cleanliness, excellent location.

Perfect location, friendly staff, would stay again
