Pine Cliffs Village

The view from the property was beautiful. There were several restaurants to choose from. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

O Pescador restaurant. Our waiter was very keen until we didn’t order drinks and large meals. Then he suddenly became aloof and on the verge of rude. Obviously he wanted us to spend more money.

Staff couldn't be more pleasant and helpful. The facilities are exceptionally clean and well maintained.

Golf course wasn't in as good condition as on previous visits at same time of year. Restaurants and golf club house are very expensive.

The location on the cliffs and the grounds. The spa, the pool. The reception staff..

The apartment was too far from the main hotel complex and smelt stale and unused. The decor could do with a major updating. There were ants on the floors everywhere. The majority of the restaurants were either closed or booked for private functions at key times of the day. The complex didn't flow well and was a little disjointed. There was no one servicing the pool or sun lounger areas (probably due to the private function). They missed a lot of extra business with this. In trying to satisfy everyone, it just felt to me that their target clientele was way too large. As there were lots of children having a ball, I think they could also consider an adult only area. Our first trip (overnight stay) was maybe too short to make a proper judgement, and if we return, we would look for a better positioned apartment or room. Out of everything, the closure of areas for private bookings would be the biggest turn-off..

Multiple restaurant options and all the food was delicious! The sunset view from the champagne bar was an amazing way to end each day. My wife loved the Serenity Spa treatment and facilities. Special shout out to the concierge Carlos who helped us multiple times and went above and beyond.

It took some time to figure out the operating hours of the restaurants and shops, as they all appeared to have different times.

Pine cliffs is a great resort and we have stayed there several time before. The two bed luxury townhouse we were given was in really poor repair. We had had to report several safety issues with the property including screws sticking out of the floor and broken furniture. After 3 attempts we stopped trying to get the TV to work. At appx £400+ a night, the property felt like something from 1980’s.

The beach and pools are great and the staff are nice.
