Hampton Inn and Suites Austin - Lakeway

Property was under renovation which was not listed on Expedia site. Had to move rooms 3 times due to the sound of the A/C in the room. Staff was very accommodating due do the A/C units because there was no one on property to fix. Beds were very very hard and uncomfortable. Hoping the renovation brings improvements because hotel is located in a very convenient spot.

The hotel was having construction done so a lot of parking space where taken up with materials and a trash container. Yet the hotel was pretty full which made parking didficult

They were remodeling and it was dirty. The dirt was not new but also caked in corners of elevator and near ice machine. We arrived at about 330pm to rest and shower before a party. We had no water at all until about 2 am. We had to sponge bath with bottles water and the toilets were not flushed. They could have taken buckets of water from the pool to at least flush the public bathroom. It was gross. We were told when we checked it it would be 40 minutes over and over. I know the water being shut off by the city was not their problem but we were too exhausted to go anywhere else as it was late and we had.a long day and then a long drive to ge there.

First of all, hotel was under going a remodel during our stay which made it look messy, seeing toilets and construction materials in the hallways coming out of our room was odd. And Friday the water to the hotel was cut off from noon to who knows how late, which created a huge inconvenience ! Some bad planning I would say.

Was not given the room I reserved and paid for. Was given a room with 2 double beds I booked a room with a king size bed. Room smelled bad. Maybe stop using cheap smelly cleaners like fabuloso? Hampton Inn of Lakeway do better

Wish there was more whirlpool rooms

Hotel under construction. Floors were dirty, tables in breakfast area were all sticky. Our water knob in the shower was broken. Orange juice at breakfast out of order. Elevator door had trouble closing. Front desk was beyond rude. We had to leave early due to a family health emergency and no consideration for early departure. We’ve been staying here on our visits to Bee Cave for 8 years but regretfully this is probably our last time.
