The mattress in the rooms are old and not very comfortable. We stayed at a Hampton in Amarillo and they were much better.

Poorly equipped-no pen or paper. No area guides. There was only one small bar of soap and no cups in bathroom Side door was out of service and appeared to have been so for a while. The business center was apparently permanently closed. Food was okay but not great. I have stayed there periodically over several years but will be looking for other accommodations.

The property was nice but really needs to be updated. The fitness room was shut down and apparently being renovated or equipment being replaced. The business center was closed down as well. I don't know if the hotel is beginning renovations in these areas or if there were other reasons for them being unavailable to guests. No explanation was offered. This hotel is located on a busy road and can be difficult trying to enter or exit from the driveway. It was however near restaurants and shopping.

My stay was good. The room was clean and quiet. I arrived about an hour early, and they were able to accommodate me without notice. I felt it was a good value for the area.

"Needs updating"

With such a high rating on Trip Advisor, was surprised to find a property in need of significant upgrades to command such a high rating. Have stayed at some Hamptons in Austin that have been updated and they are quite nice. This property is very old and tired. Clean but in need of a major renovation to command a 4+ rating. Barely average.
