Hampton Inn and Suites Austin - Lakeway

I stay in Hiltons every week for work and this hotel was the worst experience I have had. Bugs, moths, and crickets in the room. Management did nothing for the inconvenience. No extra points were given or any compensation. Management would not call back.

The staff was extremely rude and acted as if it was a bother to help you.

I stayed at this property a couple of years ago for a wedding and returned this time for another wedding. Unfortunately, this stay was unpleasant. The bed was very uncomfortable and lumpy. The ir conditioning cut out continuously, and the phone didn't work to call the front desk. There were stains on the sheets, the shower water was lukewarm at best, and the power went out for the entire property and did not come back on before checkout. The front desk clerk was unapologetic and was of no help stating that management was not on the property and it is what it is. I will not stay here again, and it was most definitely not what I've come to expect from a Hilton property.

The hotel was a little dated , but very clean. The staff was very courteous. Taryn was an excellent host. She informed us of the benefits of the Hilton Honors program and provided a lot of helpful suggestions for things to do!
