Painted Boat Resort Spa and Marina

Eine ausgesprochen grossräumige Unterkunft, mit sehr viel Platz. Eine tolle, grosse Küche und die nötigsten Basics sind vor Ort (Kaffee, Tee, Salz, Pfeffer). Ein grosses und bequemes Bett. Wir hatten eine grosse Terasse mit Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten. Die Lage ist sehr schön und absolut ruhig, direkt an der Marina. Eine gute Basis für Erkundungen an der Sunshine Coast. Das Restaurant ist absolut idylisch gelegen, mit dem Blick auf die Marina und die Bucht. Gäste kommen mit dem Boot zum Essen. Die angebotenen Speisen sind ganz prima und der Service superfreundlich. Angenehm auch der Pool und der Hot Pot zur Entspannung.

The location was very central for exploring different parts of the coast. We enjoyed a 2bdrm villa which was very spacious, well equipped and had a beautiful view of the harbor. The property was nicely laid out and very quiet and peaceful. We used the hot tub and pool and found that to be very nice and very clean.

We had a few issues with our key cards but certainly not bad enough to spoil our visit! The front desk took care of it and all was good.

We had a very good stay and the front reception made inquiries with others about the availability of a water view when we found that our unit faced mostly a forest which I did not anticipate. Luckily something was available in a two bedroom (we closed off the extra bathroom and bedroom). This made our visit very memorable and we enjoyed the view and regular pool and whirlpool that does not involve an extra charge.

First floor suite facing mostly forest...as it was late September it did not get much sun and no water view although if you enjoy a forested view and in the summer this would be cooler. We realize of course that requests to move can not always be granted and the inside of the suite I am sure was top notch as ours was.

I liked the modern look of the suite

Pillows overcrowding of furniture, broken lights/ light switch, having a lower level with lots of people stomping above me. scratches from branches beside my parking spot.

Would be nice to have a breakfast option on site at the restaurant

Clean spacious and beautiful. Quiet.

The villa was big and spacious. Area was beautiful, and I was allowed to keep my kayak down by the dock which made it easy to get out on the water. All of the amenities were great. The hot tub, pool, and fitness center were a nice feature. For an additional fee we were able to bring our dog with us.

We didn't like the taste of the tap water.
