Painted Boat Resort Spa and Marina

We had a great time there

The facilities far exceeded our expectation. Room consisted of a 2 level townhouse w 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms ( one w both large soaking tub and walk-in shower), full kitchen, dining and living room w fireplace and large screen TV( Netflix and Amazon Prime available), large deck w water views. The facilities included spa with waterfall and fire pit, sauna, infinity pool and large outdoor hot tub, fitness center and water access for kayak launch. Parking free and plentiful.

Restaurant on-site was closed for 2 consecutive days which happened to be the 2 nights of our stay. Use of the spa was a bit pricey when purchased alone but was included w/ other spa services.

Spacious room, Nice pool, nice views and friendly staff. The staff left us a bottle of champagne in the fridge to celebrate our anniversary! How thoughtful!

The water had a funny smell/taste to it.

The view was amazing, unit was clean and spacious. Pool and gym were great. Restaurant was a treat!

Spa expensive. No air con in unit. No option to stream to tv or watch a streaming service.

Great hotel, beautiful location! We loved our evenings overlooking the marina, it was also great to have a grocery store IGA just around the corner from the hotel. Staff were all great, special recognition to the front desk agent Andrew, as he was very helpful and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. Our only complaint, though a significant one, is the absence of any kind of a/c solution. Sure, the resort does state that there is no a/c, just fans and natural breeze, but this was not nearly enough to keep our loft apartment cool during the day with only 70-75 degrees outside. We had to close all curtains and run fans nonstop. At night the apartment also remained much warmer than we would have liked. With the temperatures in mid-80s few days after we left, we cannot imagine how the guests staying there after us were able to keep the apartment cool. All in all, it’s a wonderful resort, but, given the overall warming weather trends, there needs to be a solution for air conditioning.

Excellent hotel and great service. Love the pool

The villa was lovely and clean, kitchen was well stocked. Staff was excellent and the location was peaceful.
