I avoided stating anything that can’t be substantiated (e.g. saying he “laughed at our claims”), Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, we found the bathroom to be in an unacceptable state of cleanliness. There was hair throughout the bathroom that clearly did not belong to us, visible soap scum and grime on the shower walls, mould around the bath and shower seals, and a general level of dirt that suggested the room had not been properly cleaned before check-in. To the hotel’s credit, they did offer us an alternative room after we raised our concerns. Unfortunately, the replacement room was smaller and, upon inspection, in an even poorer state of cleanliness than the original. We therefore returned to reception to explain why we could not accept it. Rather than acknowledging our concerns, the gentleman at reception appeared to dismiss them. When we showed him videos of the condition of the rooms, he seemed amused rather than concerned and remarked that if you use a camera flash and zoom in, “of course you’re going to find things.” As paying guests simply expecting a clean room, this response was both disappointing and unprofessional. The only resolution ultimately offered was to clean our original room. While this should certainly have been done, it is not compensation, it is the standard of cleanliness that should have been provided before guests arrived. We also requested that Booking.com review the matter and consider appropriate compensation. However, the hotel dismissed this request, relying on its no-refund policy rather than engaging with the concerns we had raised. A no-refund policy should not excuse accommodation that fails to meet basic cleanliness standards or the dismissive handling of legitimate guest complaints. The location is convenient, but cleanliness and customer service are fundamental expectations of any hotel.

Breakfast is fabulous. Lots of choice.

Chambre vieillotte et mal insonorisées Serveur du bar déplaisant Interdiction de prendre un verre en terrasse ??? Jamais vu ça Buffet repas de piètre qualité et avec un choix restreint Parking dans la rue certes gratuit mais encore faut-il trouver une place pour nous à distance de l'hôtel sachant que la rue est très pentue Et en plus c'est pas cadeau au niveau du prix Nous avons un tour de l'île et changé plusieurs fois d'hôtels et c'est de loin le moins bien et pourtant un des plus cher
