Los Padres Inn

Really nice staff and clean rooms. Just need to manage your expectations because the property and rooms are really old and run down with the exception of a couple of single queen bed rooms that have been updated. But the double queen rooms have yet to be updated. Best price for being in close proximity to downtown SLO.

The staff were super nice, and the whole experience was super easy and enjoyable!

I had a lovely stay here. My only thing was that it was very cold in my room.

First, I wasn't expecting much given the price of this inn, but it still left a lot to be desired. If you just need a place to sleep with clean sheets and don't want to break the bank, then this is your place. But if you are with family or a couple even, I would not recommend this Inn. There were a lot of things that could be updated (carpet w/stains, curtains w/stains, old vanity in bathroom with what looked like mold at the bottom, old bed, and walls that could be fixed re painted.) I guess you get what you pay for...
