The Magnolia Hotel Searcy

It was quiet. The staff was very welcoming upon check in. I had no issues with my room.

The only complaint I have is I had to basically shove the door closed to lock it. Other than that no issues.

I used expedia to book room. Upon arrival hotel wanted 100 dollars cash deposit. I never stayed there yet expedia still charged my credit card. Stay away from this scam!

Great location. No road noise. Easy access to restaurants and gas stations. Perfect place for short stay. No frills but clean and comfortable.

Beds were very comfortable. Room was clean. Very friendly staff.

Stains on comforter and on the floor. Roomed reeked of smoke and even had an ash tray in the room. Didn’t expect that.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times over the past four years and this will be my last stay. When I checked in I requested a bottom floor (I have bad knees) I was told that I could only have a 1st floor room if I paid more money per night. They do not have an elevator so I was made to suffer the stairs. I did not see anything when I booked my room regarding an additional charge for a 1st floor. Searcy has plenty of hotels and I will be utilizing one of them for my next stay.
