Check in was easy, room was fine, albeit the decor was tired. I was mainly staying to visit the Black Country Museum, and it's a good location for that, just a short drive away. I also liked walking round the canal area by the hotel, because I like a bit of industrial history, even though it's probably not the most salubrious area.

Only the big overhead light worked, not the bedside lights, as far as I could tell (I couldn't find switches for them, anyway.) I didn't sleep brilliantly, as it was a bit too hot; had I been staying longer than one night, I might have asked if there were a lighter duvet option.

Floor was damp near edge of the room connected to the bathroom where it seemed to be leaking through from the shower, but other than that it was all good!
