"Functional and no better"

The room was functional and no more. It was clean, sure but pretty soulless! Staff absolutely did their best though

"Mixed, not sure I would stay again, no matter how handy the location."

The location was excellent, right next to the train station. All the staff I spoke to were lovely. Breakfast was good.

The WiFi was hopeless. Room and bathroom could have been cleaner.

Very convenient hotel to stay being very close to Kendal Station for anyone travelling to the Lake DIstrict by train. Hotel modernised with lift up to 3rd floor. Short 10 mins walk to Kendal's main street. Very friendly staff. Allowed to check in early for free. Not sure if hotel has car parking facilities ?

Management were informed at time of leaving of one minor small matter re breakfast which was remedied.
