Club Bamboo South

This place was perfect for our stay! Quiet and relaxing with the view of the gulf! Nice pool area and very clean. The room could use some new furniture and new bed dressings. Over all the room was nice with little kitchen and a very nice size frig. Balcony was very nice with table and 4 chairs. Had chairs you could take to beach and it was a short walk. I would stay here again! When you pay for room they add the tax and cleaning fee right then not when you get there like they state on their advertisement with prices!

This is not a hotel. The units are owned and maintained by various owners. The first unit we were in the comforter and shams were worn, stained and appeared dirty. The toilet moved. The second room was clean and well maintained. Towel exchange and garbage removal are the guest's responsibilities. There is no phone in the room and the office closes at 5 pm M-S and 1 pm on Sundays. The pool is clean and the beach is close. A heron guarded the pool and walked around the edge snacking on water bugs. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and floats are plentiful and available for guests. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

We were in for a family gathering which took place right down the road. It was convenient to the location and the price was right. The beach was beautiful. The only concern is the parking is limited, but was able to get the last spot every night.

The studio was well furnished, kitchen had all you need. The overall place is not pristine, but the location makes up for it. We stayed in studio 119. The only problem with it was the beds, both the kings size bed and the pull out bed were lumpy and hard. The sheets for the pull out bed and the pillow were not fresh. But everything else was really nice about this studio, wish they would just improve the beds. The hotel is close to the free trolley stops, and the hotel had parking. We actually did not use to use the car to get around.

Excellent location right on the beach. Only one issue, which was totally my fault, and the staff corrected ot immediately. Would definitely recommend Club Bamboo South for any who are visiting Anna Maria Island.

Needed beach time. Perfect for that. Beach is great. Hotel is right on the beach. Pool is warm and right off the beach. Perfect for couple or family wanting to beach it.

I can't rate Club Bamboo as a hotel, as it does not have daily cleaning, restaurant or other hotel amenities. It's older but nicely updated condo rentals in a c.14 unit building; King studios with kitchen/dishes/pots & pans/micro, 2 burner electric cooktop/coffee maker/toaster, small pullout sofa and ottoman, table and chairs. All basically the same with some differences by condo unit owners. Towels and bed linens are supplied, and some could be newer. One roll of paper towels and one roll of TP; two trash bags per two trash cans, then you buy your own or request more from the office. All rooms have great gulf and beach views. There was always hot water and good water pressure. There's a small heated pool, plenty of chairs, tables, picnic tables, barbecues, and it's right on the beach. I loved my room, and would stay at Club Bamboo on beautiful Anna Maria Island again.

Beautiful sunset, direct access to the beautiful beach. Great weekend get away!!!

Everything was acceptable. Bed was Very uncomfortable.

Excellent view from the balcony. The heated pool was great when the ocean water was too cold for swimming.
