Club Bamboo South

Pleasant stay. Big room, very spacious, newer kitchen. Balcony was very large. Gorgeous view of the Gulf of Mexico. Front desk person was very personable. Only complaints would be that the tile floor was not mopped very well and housekeeping fee, which I felt was excessive for what little work we left for housekeeping to do (especially since the floor was filthy already). Perhaps the fee should be based upon the occupants of the room and not to each and every one. We left only the change of bedding and towels for housekeeping to do, normal room turnover maintenance. Despite that, we would definitely return to this hotel.

Nothing fancy, but a great gulf front location!

Great hotel, staff a bit green, but friendly. The elevator was a bit dodgy, but all told, great experience! Would stay again for sure!

Our room was #222(Second floor facing the ocean.). The room was large and with a well equiped kitchen.It was very quiet and comfortable. The only thing that might make it better is to move the (king size) bed away from the A/C,and that would not be a problem for management. If you like seafood a trolley(free) will take you to the end of the pier to the ROD and REEL.My wife had the clam dinner which was more than adequate.I had the grouper sandwich(Subject to market prices). Also a Publix,Walgreen, and CVS are less than a mile away. There is also a China One fast food near to Walgreens ,but I don't recommend it and my wife is an excellent cook. Parking is somewhat limited and finally the beach is most excellent and not crowded.

Excellent location on Anna Maria Island. Hotel is clean and comfortable, but could use some updating.All rooms are on the beach and have beach views.

The rooms are awesome great view of the beach, awesome pool not to big but great, they had extra chair to take to the beach to see the sun set, not to far to shoping and restaurants. I would stay there again, friendly staff

The best part about this hotel is the balcony! You can sit out there all day with a gorgeous view of the beach. And this hotel is also located on the main street of town. The hotel was nothing fancy, so it was fine for an overnight stay. It's a small tourist town so nothing is open too late, including the front desk. The service hours for the front desk are 9-5, and check-in is 4pm. Their policy for check-out was not consistent or clear so when I left on the last day, I was given a bill of my hotel charges that were very confusing. All in all, I got a great experience of AMI.

Enjoyed our stay.The room was clean and the bed was very comfy.

Rooms are smartly furnished to allow for maximum space during the day, but at night you can bring down the Murphy bed, open the sofa bed or the ottoman and up to five people can sleep in the room. We had three rooms this time, but are making plans to rent a few more next year and bring more of the family. The room has a full size refrigerator, microwave, a range top,(but no oven), toaster oven, toaster, coffee maker, and all kinds of other kitchen ware, making it an affordable vacation once you have meals prepared in the room. There is a Publix for your shopping convenience only three minutes away by car. And of course, the very best part is that every room has a balcony with a view to the ocean. Beautiful.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at Club Bamboo. We have stayed on Anna Maria multiple times but this was our first time staying on the beach. We had a second floor room and the views from the balcony were priceless. The balcony is a nice size too with a table and four chairs. Cindy in the office was very friendly and answered all of our questions with a smile. We would definitely stay at Club Bamboo again!
