Microtel Inn & Suites - Kearney

The price was right, the rooms were clean, breakfast and Wi-Fi included. Nothing fancy, but exactly what I needed for my stay.

Very clean and quiet. Dog fees were not too expensive.

It was clean and comfortable for an overnight stay while traveling. Convenient to route 80. The staff was friendly and helpful. And my dog really appreciated the bowl of dog treats in the lobby. I really appreciated the reasonable pet fee and how dog friendly the place was

Location was great, right off the interstate and easy to find. Bed was comfortable. Shower was great. Fridge had a small freezer compartment (the kind without a separate door) that was adequate to re-freeze the ice packs I use in my travel cooler. Good thing: Although I was not traveling with a dog, other people had their pups with them--cute! Seems like a very family-friendly place, based on who else I saw there.

I should have left the climate-control unit's fan on overnight (I turned it off because I was comfortable without any supplementary heat or cooling) because there was some not-very-loud noise from an adjacent room and the hallway. It was minor and would have been unnoticeable with the fan operating--well, most of it. There was some hallway noise that would have broken through . . . and we're talking about 11 p.m., because my own arrival time was about 9:30 p.m. That's luck of the draw for who else is using the facility and how they behave. I was on the second floor.
