Rodeway Inn & Suites Salina South

We stayed in room 216 in Salina Kansas and both nights that we were there there was a girl screaming in the hallway yelling at her boyfriend I'm assuming and the neck the first morning that we were there after we woke up I asked the front desk for towels and they told us they didn't have any the second night we were there it got really windy and I went to turn the heat on and it blew out ice Cold Air I tried to contact the front desk numerous times no one answered me so me and my 1-year-old and my four year old froze all night long it got down to 35 or 40° in that room it was cold we all three had to snuggle up together to keep warm because I couldn't find anyone in the hotel to help me I'd really like my money back I was really highly dissatisfied with the hotel I commented about it to the front desk person on the way out and she said you should have told us and I explained to her that I did tell him or try to tell them that no one was responding no one would answer the phones anyway she said that she talked to her supervisor and I've never heard anything back from them I really like reimbursed my money or something to show that they really do care thank you have a great day

Very friendly staff and clean rooms

There were beer cans and trash all around the parking area. Inside of the hotel and the room were clean.

Check in great nice helpful staff. Room was great for the price fridge and microwave spacious room clean and big bathroom. Only thing to say needs improvement is morning staff… we’re none around. Breakfast (no sugar free of anything not even coffee sweetener. And no butter of margarine for the white only bagels and bread. Please add whole wheat, and equal and butter and I will be back. Convenient off exit.

Price was good. My room was clean and worked for my needs. The property was very rundown.

This is the WORST hotel in which I have stayed. The odor is terrible. The door didn’t close well. The air conditioner didn’t work. The commode rocked on it’s base. The tv didn’t work. There were two small pillows on a king size bed. We even had to ask for an ice bucket. Breakfast was terrible. No phone either. Never again!

This hotel was filthy with black mold, filthy rooms, and had a horrible odor in it. It looked as though they were renting out to homeless due to the broke down car on blocks and a nasty grill on the yard of the property. WE WANT A FULL REFUND FROM THERE! I will also be contacting the Kansas State Board of Health on this facility!

First set of keys didn't work. Trash can without liner was sitting outside the door when we arrived. There was only one bath towel in the room for 2 people. When we asked for another, we were given 3 bath mats instead of a towel. The shower curtain was missing and the room smelled of mildew from some type of flood.

I had reservations for a king suite but was given a room with 2 double beds. When I tried to correct this I was told that was all they had. They could give me a discount or a refund. I chose the refund. He said he gave me a 15% discount but that it had to come from Hotels.com since I prepaid. Next problem - the deadbolt on the room door was broken and did not work at all. I had to turn the chair upside down in front of the door to block the door. The 3rd problem - I tried to carry my luggage in though the side door because it was much closer to my room, however, the key card reader did not work so I had to carry my bags clear around the hotel and then back down the hall to get to the room. The 4th problem - upon checkout I asked for a receipt but was told that they could not give me one because I booked through hotels.com. I never received a receipt and I never received a discount. Very poor customer service. Very poor room security because of the deadbolt. Poor convenience because of the broken key card reader. Do not recommend
