Rodeway Inn & Suites Salina South

Upon check-in, our room had tiles off the shower base that was just stacked up. Went to front desk, the next room's TV was just snow. The man and another lady tried but could not make it work. The next room was an adjoined room, the one room's key would not work and they just got in to unlock the door between. The other room's smoke detector was beeping and they did replace the batteries. We went out the next day and on returning noticed our room had not been tended to. The trash was still there, not vacuumed because I found a dead bug (which may have been there from before). We had stayed here in the past with no issues but after this experiece, I'm not sure we will return.

Not a very happy customer... Where do I start? 1. TV / remote didn’t work. 2. No hot water for shower. 3. Beds not comfortable at all. 4. No free breakfast with room as advertised, sign stated it was due to Covid-19. 5. Front desk staff could not resolve tv issue, and maintenance never showed to fix the problem. Unfortunately, can not recommend this hotel due to my bad experiences.

Ended up booking wrong day because it was after midnight, but front desk fixed it seamlessly, no issue. Room was very nice, clean, had fridge & microwave. No breakfast due to restrictions. Only complaint was it seemed a rougher crowd, tired workers, & small group of early 20's that smoked in the elevator regularly (think one might work there).

This hotel is deceitful, unprofessional and a bunch of crooks. The photos are NOT current. If you notice, they used the photos are from when it used to be called the “Sleep Inn,” which I’m assuming was back when it was a well-ran establishment. I was one hour from arriving in the middle of a cross country road trip when I got a phone call telling me that they no longer could accommodate a reservation I had made two and a half weeks prior. Their reason for not being able to accommodate me was that their rooms are “first come, first served.” Why in the world would anyone make a reservation if rooms are first come, first served ? On top of that, I set up my reservation to be paid for on-site when I checked in. They went ahead and took the liberty of charging me even though THEY cancelled on ME. They’ll likely be shut down soon based on the other reviews I’m reading. Beware - DON’T BOOK A ROOM HERE !!

We never stayed, made a reservation got the confirmation. When we arrived the little giy at the front desk was rude and said he had no rooms. Very hateful person. I will never book with them again. Hotels.com refunded my money and helped get another room at 1 in the morning.

We reserved a King Suite and they tried putting us in a double queen room. They accommodated and found us a single king room. The pool was out of order, no breakfast, and the overall room and building looked broken down.

Big room comfortable clean. A bit south of 70 but worth it. Very reasonable rate

This hotel is not at all what is pictured. Upon entering the stench is unwelcoming. No air conditioning. All air condition units within the entrance and hallways were shut off. The women’s restroom on first floor should be condemned. Upon entering my room the stench was so bad and there was no shower curtain in the bathroom. Towels were torn. Refrigerated did not work. Wallpaper falling off walls. Bugs Found mold on shower ceiling. Called manager had him move us to another room which was no better than the first room. This hotel was a nightmare from hell. So unhealthy and the health department should be called in on. So many violations. Should be condemned and removed from being considered a choice hotel. No one should waste their mi rt on this place.
