"A hotel that truly is 5 stars... superb from start to finish. Look no further."

10.0

We were so happy we chose the Mandarin Oriental, Boston for our first trip. My daughter was due to have surgery there in Boston and we could not have chosen a better place to recover. Jason Paluch, a huge thank you to you especially. There aren't many hotels that know the art of customer service quite like you do. The team literally rolled out the red carpet for my 3 year old and myself. At check in, we had a quiet floor and upgraded to what was pretty much the best room on the floor. A corner overlooking the Main Street with a beautiful hallway as you entered and a huge bathroom that would allow my daughter to not get her surgery area wet. They also set up a tent for her with books, teddies, and just thoughtful touches to make her feel welcome. Even sending up our "Buttler" who delivered more books! Wow, lovely staff. We stayed almost 8 nights and part of the visit was essentially being in lockdown whilst the blizzard hit Boston pretty severely; rightfully so all shops were closed that Monday so it was so lucky we had the hotel plaza to roam and explore with a toddler. The hotel made it a joy to be there so many nights, away from our family, and make the most of a very chilly part of the year.

"A great hotel"

8.0

It has been nice to return. Located not far from Copley Plaza, it makes it accessible to parks, shopping, restaurants, etc. and magnolias were in full bloom… Rooms are pretty big, well appointed, great showers, comfy beds and good services. Breakfast is very nice in Gordon’s Kitchen and options are pretty large. All the staff weee kind and professionals. A pool though would have been the path to perfection…

"Amazing experience for my stay for Boston Marathon!"

10.0

My stay at Mandarin Oriental for Boston Marathon weekend was truly exceptional and exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, the level of hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail was evident. Every member of the team provided service that was warm, attentive, and genuinely personalized, creating an experience that felt both seamless and memorable. The location could not have been better, right at the finish line (Boylston) making race day logistics effortless and allowing me to be in the heart of one of the most exciting weekends in Boston. Having a beautiful, peaceful place to return to while still being steps away from all the energy and celebration of marathon weekend made the experience even more special. The accommodations were beautifully designed, impeccably maintained, and offered the perfect balance of luxury and comfort. My room was peaceful, elegant, and thoughtfully curated, making it an ideal space to relax and recharge. Every aspect of the property reflects a commitment to excellence and guest experience. What made the stay even more outstanding was how thoughtfully the hotel catered to marathon weekend. They offered incredible runner-focused amenities, including recovery treatments and massages that were exactly what was needed after race day. The complimentary breakfast was a wonderful touch to start each morning, and the marathon watch party overlooking the race created such a special atmosphere for family and friends to cheer on runners crossing the finish line. Dinner at Ramsay’s Kitchen was another highlight, with exclusive marathon weekend pasta specials that made pre-race fueling feel elevated and memorable. Even small touches like the Samuel Adams offerings added to the celebratory feel of the weekend and showed how much thought went into creating a complete experience for runners and guests. What stood out most was the staff’s dedication to going above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Their kindness and professionalism made a lasting impression and elevated the entire stay. I would highly recommend Mandarin Oriental to anyone visiting for the Boston Marathon or seeking an outstanding hospitality experience, and I look forward to returning in the future.

"Late flight refresher!"

10.0

After arriving from a late night flight, my beautiful room at the Mandarin Oriental in Boston felt like an oasis! Normally, after my sleep cycle is interrupted, I find it very hard to get to sleep. This was not the case with this stay. The luxurious bed and linens lulled me into a deep slumber. I woke up refreshed and was further energized by the vigorous shower stocked with delightfully scented products. Furthermore, I had forgotten my toothbrush and was pleasantly surprised to find a dental pack in one of the bathroom drawers. This saved me the trouble (and embarrassment) of having two call the front desk. I am definitely looking forward to my next visit!

"Exceptional Stay in the Heart of Back Bay Boston"

10.0

I recently stayed at the Mandarin Oriental, Boston and had a fantastic experience. The hotel truly lives up to its reputation for high quality and exceptional service. The staff were incredibly attentive, professional, and always ready to assist with a warm attitude. The location is another major highlight—right in the heart of Back Bay, making it perfect for exploring the city, shopping, and dining. Overall, a top-tier hotel experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Boston.

"Perfect!"

10.0

My wife and 15 year old twin boys treated ourselves to 3 nights at the Mandarin Oriental Boston. We had connecting rooms, which was ideal--the boys had their own room with two doubles, and we had a king room. The rooms are clean, quiet and very large for a city hotel. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are beautiful. The service is fantastic. Everyone liked the "free" bottles of Adirondack water. We joined the MO rewards program, which entitled us to a generous breakfast credit in Ramsay's kitchen--the onsite restaurant. (Note that the tip is not included in the credit.) This was definitely worth it but, to join, you must book directly with MO. Luckily we had. The location is great for families--right in the heart of back bay. We walked down Newbury St. to the Common and Public Garden one day and up to the Museum of Fine Arts the next day. The hotel actually connects indoors to the Prudential Center mall, which connects indoors to the Copley Place mall, so there are things to do if the weather is bad. We liked poking around Eataly--a large market-style store in the Prudential mall. Also the Blue Bottle coffee in the Prudential Mall was excellent. We parked for three nights in the Prudential Center garage (which is expensive, but not as expensive as the hotel's valet) and never used our car. We just Ubered if we needed to go somewhere not within walking distance. We had dinner one night at the Legal Seafood in the newish harbor front area of Boston. (One of our kids loves Legal Seafood.) We had considered staying at hotels in that area, but I'm glad we didn't end up there. The area is nice, but it's too far from what interested us. My wife said this is the nicest hotel she's ever stayed in. 'Nuf said.
