Columba Hotel

I had a view of the sea and that was most important for me. The room was just fine. The shower had great pressure and very hot water. Plenty of towels. Breakfast was a full one with a reasonable choice. I would have preferred some rolls in addition to bread slices. It would be great if an automatic coffee machine were to be installed. The coffee was drinkable - but just. I have no complaints about the staff. In all, it fulfilled my expectations for a third star hotel. I would use it again were I to stay in Oban.

I prefer not to have fully carpeted floors. I think carpets have the capacity to hid the dirt! The windows and outside ledges could do with being a little cleaner.

Camera molto ampia, con piccolo salottino e una bella finestra sul porto. La posizione dell'albergo è ottima (è situato proprio su vecchio molo), staff cortese.

Pytteliten hiss från medeltiden som nog inte fyller säkerhetskraven alternativt brant trappa med knarrande golv under sunkig heltäckningsmatta passar inte boende med bagage eller trötta ben. Sängen var för mjuk för min smak och sänglampor felkopplade men på det stora hela gillade vi den bedagade känslan.

This hotel and the staff are wonderful. Our room was beautiful and so spacious. The views were breathtaking. Such hospitality here. Will definitely sty again!

Sehr schönes großes Zimmer, aber > Schöner Fahrstuhl aus der Jahrhundertwende. Und funktionstüchtig.

Easy access from the bus and ferries.

Small room a little dated. A little loud at night pub outside the window.
