Very nice hotel property with very kind and helpful staff. These people made our stay as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately there is not much for small kids, besides the water slide. Playground is obviously longer time out of operation. The selection of the food was quite disappointing, and for kids many times no option at all. Even the pasta was spicy. Luckily the staff was amazing and upon asking they prepared at least french fries. Overall nice stay, but one time was enough.

Nice beach view, only 20 minutes from the airport. Clean rooms and a wide variety of dishes for breakfast. Reasonable prices, and the staff are friendly. Highly recommended for everyone to visit.

I really appreciated the warm welcome we received upon our late arrival, as well as the thoughtful gesture of providing a late meal. The WiFi connection was excellent throughout our stay, and I also enjoyed the quality and service at the poolside à la carte restaurant. These touches made the experience feel both comfortable and attentive.

The dinner buffet is extremely disappointing, both in terms of quantity and variety. There were very few options available, and the selection was repetitive and uninspired. For a Hilton hotel, I expected a much broader range of dishes and higher quality offerings. In my opinion, this falls far below the standard that guests should receive at a Hilton property. Additionally, the outdoor children’s park is old, not well maintained, and needs considerable improvement. Overall, these facilities do not meet the standards associated with the Hilton brand, in my opinion.

Our families' stay at the Hilton Salalah had some lovely highlights but also a few areas that could be improved. The location is good, with a beautiful stretch of white sand and a calm, family-friendly atmosphere. The view from the beach includes part of the industrial port off to the right, but it doesn’t take away from how magnificent and peaceful the beach itself is. For the kids, seeing the far away ships was a plus. You do need to walk a little to reach the water, though buggies are available for those who prefer not to. The team was proactive and welcoming. We received a helpful pre-arrival message offering transfer assistance, and the staff were accommodating when we arrived early. Special thanks to Imelda, Yacine, Shahangir, Akram, Arun, Ahmed Q. and Rani for their kindness and attention throughout our stay. The room was cleaned well, but small details were inconsistent: not enough towels for the number of guests and beds, and supplies not replenished unless specifically requested (cups, tea, shampoo, water). The restaurant and buffet could use some improvement: food was on the bland side, and during peak times, the team struggled to keep dishes topped up. The restaurant sign advertised shakshouka, but it wasn’t available at the buffet during our stay. The café restaurant, however, offered good flavour and variety. The pool area is pleasant but could benefit from a small refresh. A few small touches would make a big difference. For example, a kids' English TV options and/or allowing guests to log into their own Netflix or Prime accounts. Overall, a beachfront property with attentive staff, ideal for families. With a few improvements to food quality and service consistency, it could easily reach its full Hilton potential.
