The big rooms and the private beach. Everything is clean and smells great. The staff is very helpful and gives a lot of tips about what to do in salalah. The city is amazing. Lots of thanks to all of the staff.

Good - the pool side bar and restaurant was decent. Enough parking. The burger was well made. Check out experience was very good. Bad - reception needs to be warmer and courteous. Checkin experience was very sub par. Room layout is older and it’s showing in the fixtures. The bathroom layout needs a complete revamp. Overall it’s an older property. It was pretty full with Europeans banking on the Hilton name but definitely subpar.

Hilton standard hotel, rooms excellent (space, cleanliness, facilities). Small pool full of guests. Broad, long and clean beach with direct view towards Salalah Port. Very good breakfast with versatile choices of different dishes, nice terrasse. Staff in general very friendly, friendly and mainly diligent waiters. Guests primarily from eastern Europe and Russia, some Italian, mainly typical beach tourists, more low budget type. Somehow appallingly, that tourists and the hotel management do not respect Omani culture and rules (e.g. you can wear Western style beach wear at the hotel beach, not in the hotel or during long walks beside this.) Very disappointing and not adequate for a hotel with it´s self-perception of being a 5 star place: at arrival our room was not ready although we arrived half hour later than room access time, the lady at the reception did not mind at all, we had to wait more than one hour, she was very reluctant providing any assistence for luggage. We did not even get a welcome drink, nothing to bridge the waiting time. Finally the man taking care of luggage was embarrassed and proactively helped us. He was just a benefaction! It is clear: if one stays at a 5 star hotel, a totally different degree of hotel can be expected. Location: industrial area, close to the Port.

This was our seventh stay at this lovely hotel with its family atmosphere. It's become like coming home for us. Many thanks to the very attentive staff. We especially appreciated the warm service in the restaurant. The considerate and thorough cleaning service was also very pleasant. Special thanks to Shahangir for always providing us with a great spot on the beach.

My recommendations: a nice and quiet place to lie down, warm up and swim.

We had a lovely stay here - great service, food, and location. Spacious, comfortable rooms with amazing views of the beach and ocean beyond. It is a bit out of the main city so very quiet which we really liked. The front desk, restaurant and housekeeping staff were so friendly and accommodating. Had a wonderful massage also. Highly recommended this hotel.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of the industrial zone. Half of the ocean view is actually a view of the container port, and a bit closer, the fishing port. Further on, on land, is a large cement factory and a construction plaster factory. There are no attractions or shops nearby. It's practically impossible to walk or leave the hotel grounds. Alternatively, you can take a taxi into town. The sea water is murky, with a significant amount of garbage floating on the surface. From the pool to the sea, it's about 300 meters across sand speckled with camel droppings. Their walks are quite picturesque. There are no lifeguards or other personnel at the seaside. Swimming is at your own risk. There are no water sports available. The hotel pool is not very large, with one rusting slide. The lawns by the pool are well-maintained, with plenty of sun loungers available. The hotel rooms are large, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. They are cleaned daily. This is the hotel's strongest point. It's worth paying extra for a balcony and sea view. The food is very poor. Everything tastes the same. The meat is tough, the fish is of an unknown type, and the cold cuts are best left untouched. The fruit is bland and the selection is poor. The alcohol served as part of the all-inclusive plan is of the worst quality. Paid alcohol and paid drinks, on the other hand, are exorbitantly priced, completely disproportionate to their quality. The "a la carte" restaurant is best avoided. I had the worst fish of my life there and a "sophisticated" dessert of three scoops of supermarket ice cream. There are no snacks or drinks served on the beach or by the pool. You have to go to the bar yourself, order, and bring your own. Furthermore, you have to remember the curfew hours. The evenings are dull, and there's no music in the bar, not to mention any entertainment like live music or shows. The gym was always closed and the cafeteria was empty with no one serving. Overall, I don't recommend it, and the Hilton brand should reconsider whether to continue branding a hotel with this level of service. Hilton is associated with luxury, which this hotel absolutely lacked.
