Sol Lanzarote - All Inclusive

my daughter (age 12) and I arrived at 1230pm and check-in wasn't until 3pm but our room was ready and we were able to have lunch. we were there for five nights in April 2017. it was really busy as it was school holidays (to be expected) staff were friendly and assisted us with booking a trip to the volcanic region and to Rancho Texas.

Location in quiet beachfront area 5 minutes in cheap taxi-ride from all the action in Carmen. A little old but well kept. Good sized rooms but some quite a walk away from main reception area with steep slopes in sections. Food presentation and quality excellent & abundant and service impeccable throughout. Good evening entertainment but get there early as limited seating annoying. Recommended but choose room carefully!

Good accommodation.very clean,fresh towels everyday. Modern spacious rooms,lovely big bathroom.beds firm but very comfortable. Food was typical of all inclusive, but nothing wrong with it and always something to eat.

Hotel was in a great location backing onto the Sea, Food was Good, and Room wass excellent, only two points of criticism, the Wifi was very unreliable and of an evening there wasn't enough Bar Staff and too long a Queue for a beer, apart from that fully recommend it

Fab fab fab everything very good. Check in great, food great variety. Rooms spotless. Pool area clean

The "All Inclusive" meal and drink promotion attracts a very cost conscious type of guest. We were elbowed out of the food queue by what appeared to be starving people who had never seen a buffet before. The house wine would have been better served as a vinaigrette for the salad. If you enjoy fighting for your meals at the trough, then this is the place for you. Annoying little things like "we only provide coffee in the room on your first day" are trivial and leave people feeling cheated.

The staff were friendly, the food was plentiful and lovely! The room was very basic, shower was warm Fridge, microwave and tea/coffee facilities available Small shop to buy (even) more food... Mattress was a little uncomfortable (felt the bars under the mattress), plenty of pillows TV Table and chairs to sit on the balcony Towels, sun cream and after sun available in room

Hotel is really not what I expected - more a basic 3* not the 4* they is advertised. The overall all inclusive option was very poor with Drinks served in polystyrene cups or beakers (where as if you pay you get drinks in proper glass). Food was worst I have experienced in a hotel and was like a return to school dinners. The entertainment during the day was non existent and in the evening was like a trip to a school youth club. Far better hotels available.
