Continental breakfast instead of a full sitdown breakfast. Could’ve been much cleaner. Room was way too small for two adults with luggage. Very uncomfortable.

I made 2 requests, ground floor and a garden tub. The property details showed garden tubs in several rooms on the web site.

Although I received 3 emails none of these mentioned no availability for my requests, upon check in neither was available and I was told the hotel doesn’t have any garden tubs. Our room was on the second floor. Our room was large and bright, the bed was ok but everything looked left behind, the furniture, all reproductions (ok with me) was tired with scratches, dents etc just sad. The couch had stains and honestly could not have been sold in a yard sale. The kitchenette again sad, the mini fridge had no shelves on bins and a thrift store wouldn’t accept it. The bath tub was from another century and not in a good way, oh and it wouldn’t hold water. The public downstairs area was beautiful and well maintained, beautiful winding staircase, the outside areas were very nice and very well tended to. Apparently room 3 second floor has not received the same loving care. Breakfast again a disappointment, chicken patties? Many things were missing, silverware? coffee? eggs? grits? potatoes, I think you get the picture.

The lady who checked us in was amazing. The location is amazing. However, this place is DIRTY. We booked the room for two nights but left after the first night. The mold and dust was taking its toll after the first night. This place needs a deep cleaning. Black hair in the shower,

I wish I had taken pics, this hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Our room was in back in one of the cottages. It was very spacious & had a walk-in shower that was huge. I hope I am able to come back again!

The rooms had bet comfortable beds, fabulous location, very clean, and Keurig in the room as well as continental breakfast.

The only good thing about the Beaufort Inn was the location. The room was filthy — bathroom tile and shower were covered in mold, dust and trash under the bed, and everything felt damp and musty. The sink leaked, pillows were tiny, and bright courtyard lights shined into our window all night even after we asked the front desk for help. For the price, this was unacceptable and we would never stay here again.

Room was very nice staff was friendly Was disappointed in the breakfast There were two kinds of biscuits bacon and yogurt juice and coffee Should have had maybe eggs and pastries Also need to have signs up about snakes on property as I was walking on a path between cottages there was a snake on the walk way

I liked the personal touch upon check in. They give you an overview of the history of this lovely home. Walk with you to show you tbe location of your room. The location is close to Bay St and the historical area of downtown Beaufort. Very walkable.
