Oceanview Inn - Emerald Isle

Clean, comfortable bed, great location to fishing pier, places to eat.

Very nice place! Really recommend it.

The price for Labor Day weekend was excellent, especially considering the location to beach and pier.

The shower water pressure was basically non existent.

The room stunk like it had been closed up for a while. The place is outdated. The tile in the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The hinges of the doors were all rusted. The curtain didn't block out the light at night. The people staying above us were so loud at night it sounded like they would come through the roof.

Nothing. The room was nasty. Beds had sand in the blankets. Toilet and shower were not cleaned. Pillow had hair and lint on the front and backside. Dirty foot prints on the wall beside the bed. Strong odor in the room. Wanted a refund and the front desk clerk was not accommodating. Our view was a trailer/camper park. It was not sea view. We ended up packing up and going home. Very disappointing.

The hotel seems to have been remodeled but the room was all dirty. The shower had DIRT everywhere and bugs. Mini fridge didn't work well. When I got there the receptionist was vaping while checking me in which was not professional at all. The blankets had old stains on them and the bathroom barely had towels.

Location and price are good. This was our second stay in 2 years. Overall, a good value.

No early check in. Often no one at front desk. No maid service for our 2-day stay. One bath towel, one floor mat, one packet of coffee had to last for 2 days.

Nice and clean. Took seconds to walk to the beach. Friendly staff.
