Oceanview Inn - Emerald Isle

Staff was very helpful and nice.

Recognizing that this is not a four or five star property, but a well utilized, near beachfront motel with some age on it, we had an excellent stay! We needed to get our toes in the sand so we purchased one night, at a very reasonable rate, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff was very friendly, and though the rooms have some age on them, it was clean and comfortable. I might not stay here more than a couple nights, simply because there's no kitchen, but a very enjoyable stay for a night or two for us. We will be back! Ps- My only complaint was the air conditioner could not keep up with how hot it was outside, so it was quite warm in the room (but I brought a small fan to help with that). The bathroom could use some new grout, but it was clear that they keep it clean despite the sea salt and sand.

Older hotel so the room has a lot of wear and tear but it has a hot shower and clean beds which was fine. Staff was very kind and friendly.

Location

I was to get Oceanview room, as I booked mths in advance, but instead got ground floor room. Very disappointed.

Nice comfortable, clean rooms. Quiet. Walking distance of everything. Staff was friendly and helpful
