Enjoyable stay.

Lovely place to stay!

This was our 3rd stay here. We only come to Alpine Lake Motel now. The hosts are lovely and welcoming, and we love that it’s set back off of the main road into Taupo, so it’s quieter with no traffic noise. The room is impeccably clean and beautifully maintained. We enjoy the mountain view room on the 2nd level, which is a larger studio room, and has a great view of the mountain when it’s clear of clouds. It’s warm with the heat pump. Beautifully new ensuite bathroom with heated towel rail and excellent hot shower pressure. There are toiletries provided to use if needed. Just your general shampoo/conditioner/body wash/hand soap/toilet paper. Nice little kitchenette with full size fridge/microwave/Nespresso coffee machine/kettle/teas/instant coffee/coffee pods for machine/hot chocolate/fresh milk!!- not the awful long life tiny milk packets so many hotels/motels are now providing. My only criticism is the mattress is definitely getting old and slightly uncomfortable now. We still slept well each night, but I just think it’s old.

Awesome stay as usual

Spacious, well appointed room (King Spa unit), very clean and super friendly, helpful staff. We were travelling with a large motorsport trailer in tow, and let me tell you, the parking here is fantastic. There is another vehicle in the carpark with a trailer also. None of the "trailer-towers" were in the way of other guest vehicles. Highly recommend 👌

Its perfect, a neat nuce place.

We stayed here for 5 nights and had a very nice wonderful relaxing time. Very nice comfortable pillows and comfy bed. Wonderful spa bath and awesome pressure shower. Heated tiles in the bathroom and kitchen walkway/entrance way. Even came with a portacot for our wee one 10/10 easy. Best place to come and stay. Excellent room service. Thanks to the team at Alpine Lake Motel for taking such great care of us during our time here.
