Holiday Inn Ashford Central by IHG

1. I liked the location of the hotel. 2. Beds were comfy. 3. Bathroom was clean (with a mold on the silicon floor, but otherwise clean). 4. Most of the staff were helpful and nice.

1. Very RUDE staff member, who worked in the bar, and was serving food in the hotel restaurant too. He was rude to many people, during a few days stay. 2. Food is awful! Tomato soup tastes like cheap spaghetti sauce from the jar. On top of that, you have to wait for it, like in Michelin's star restaurant (even though there are in total 5 other customers in the restaurant), for ex. we've waited 30 minutes for dessert (just dessert). 3. Window to the outside world was dirty, like someone would poor muddy water on the glass (check image). In conclusion, it is not worth to eat there, food is very bad. If you're lucky, you will not meet a rude barman. people at reception are not informing you about restaurants, times and availability, unless you ask. Go elsewhere, unless you really have to.
