Holiday Inn Belgrade, an IHG Hotel

Comfortable stay, free parking, close to Belgrade arena, and several restaurants. Very clean, well maintained. Good Internet. Very polite reception and bar team. The only negative feedback is that they did not have lactose milk (oat, almond, etc) available, but it was not a problem. I understand it is an issue only in Western Europe

En el gimnasio había dos máquinas de technogym y ninguna de las dos funcionaba. El teléfono de la habitación tampoco funcionaba. Camarera no hablaba inglés y el servicio nada resolutivo. Carta carísima y a diferencia del resto se hoteles donde te ofrecen un 25% de dto en la cena por ser miembro de IHG, en este nada. Me gustaba ir a hoteles Holiday Inn pero deberé replantearme mis preferencias.

The staff is rude and extremely rude. Very bad receptionists treat guests like idiots. Literally. The hotel is miserable and believe me, there are many better hotels in Belgrade. This is the worst hotel in Belgrade. Sramota za BEOGRAD I SRBIJU! FUJ

I didn’t realize this is a smoking hotel. Hotel staffs worked in the breakfast area were smoking while I was having breakfast. On other hand the hotel lobby staffs were very nice and help with a smooth checked-in. So I’ve a mixed feeling about this hotel.

Air conditioning did not really work the first night but I mentioned it at the desk and it was taken care of by the second night.

Overall really great experience.

Some staff members were very cheerful, but some were very unpleasant. Breakfast was good. Nice and cheerful girl from the reception was always ready to help us to book a taxi 🚕 Early check in. TV set in our room was broken and was never fixed. They just told me that is impossible to do anything, and they can’t compliment, can’t repair it and can’t replace TV even if it’s important for me. I am in wheelchair. I. Ordered twin accessible room with the breakfast included. Finally someone through booking contacted me and told that there is not possible to book twin , wheelchair accessible room, and suugested me to book another, double room with additional foldable bed. Ok, I agreed, but finally my assistant few times fallen from this foldable bed, it ruined and it was broken too. When my assistant came late for check in someone from the staff told him that the room that we booked is only for one person. I woke up at 4 am just for arguing with this angry man from the reception abd couldnt sleep more. This man told to my friend, who was also tge guest of the hotel that he can’t enter to my room! Finally, at 4 o clock am he gave him only two hours and told that he will come with the security if someone will be in my room more than two hours! Finally, after the nightmare, in the morning they told us that we don’t have a breakfast, with the price about 800 euro per 3 nights! Oh. It was terrible experience. Somebody ate breakfast instead of my friend and ordered also few dinners to his room number. I won’t come back to this hotel never. Regarding accessibility- height of the double bed was as a hill to climbe for somebody in wheelchair ♿️. Bathroom- old, shaky bathroom chair was very dangerous and not possible to use for somebody who did not learn acrobatics. Soap and shampoo accessibility . Shampoo and body soap The shampoo was screwed in such a way that it was impossible to move it and use it by hand, it was impossible to lift it! Why screw on a jar of soap? Will it be stolen? Too much furniture in the wheelchair accessible room. Not accessible desk.
