Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Warminster-Horsham by IHG

The room and amenities were exactly what we needed for a family trip.

The front desk gal treated us like it was a huge inconvenience for having booked through Booking.com, rather than direct. Her customer service skills were completely nonexistent, even 4 days later when we checked out. She us not a good representation of the company and us not fit to work in customer service.

Great service

Beautiful hotel. Very happy. Incredibly clean Room was big and comfortable Breakfast was 630am-1030am and I went twice. Great selection including omelets sausage pancakes and warm cinnamon buns Very cozy lobby with fire place and indoor pool. Highly recommend

Hot tub was full of soap and strong chemical smell but I know they have to kill off germs. Just wasn’t for me

Clean, nice pool.

Morning shower was ice cold. Reception staff ranged from a bit rude to very rude. The answer to the question, “Can I have a late check out?” Is yes with eye contact and a smile, not, “I’ll tell housekeeping” with a grim look. Then forgetting to update the room key so you have to trek up and down stairs, wasting time. Apples were the only fruit available at breakfast. I had just stayed in another hotel that served the same type of breakfast. It was done so much better at the other location. The key didn't open the door to the pool. Turns out the lock is "finicky" and the door handle has to be pulled UP not down to open it. The room felt cavernous. I hadn't booked a handicapped accessible room. The woman who checked me in mentioned that’s what I was assigned, saying that it couldn’t be changed. Why to all of that? Parking was annoying. Limited spaces in front of the hotel. Almost every one of them a handicapped space. I had to walk across an icy parking lot to get inside when I returned from an event late at night.

For holiday and standards the rooms were very spacious. Exterior property and lobby area is very clean and modern.

The unit I was in (132) had several issues. There was a locker room smell in the suite that despite opening the windows for a while every day we were unable to get rid of. I think it’s the rugs. We were on the ground level (which we requested) and the lights that light the path on the ground were right over our windows… That wouldn’t have been a problem except that the room does not have blackout curtains. So at night it was extremely bright. They have short stationary blackout curtains on the left and the right so we had to take binder clips and pull them together in the center and clip them, while simultaneously throwing a towel over the top valid to cover the remaining triangle opening. I’m really not sure how other people sleep in that room. It’s excessively bright at night. Additionally my bathtub was not properly cleaned, I had to take a disinfectant wipe and scrub the bottom and the sides where there was obviously a dirt ring. And one of my comforters had stains on it that looked like fresh food (as opposed to a stain that just didn’t wash out).

All around a good place to stay.
