Located off the main beach, this gem of a hotel had every need cared for, friendly staff, excellent pool and great ambience.

The hotel is very well situated next to the beach, and this beach is very well sheltered from virtually most winds. Only breakfast and Sunday lunches are available - the quality of food is however good. Only about 10 rooms are available and it does not really look like a hotel from the outside. Towels are old and worn and need to be replaced - the shower leaked water onto the floor and the blocked toilet was fixed by a competent "lavetrician" (i.e. an electrician who also seems to be a plummer). The beach was awesome and simple shallow snorkling reveals lots of beautiful coral gardens with lots of splendid tropical fish and even some sea tortoise. A top class modern super market & bakery is less than 5 minutes walking from the hotel, as well as many restaurants. Cheap bus transport is readily available about every 10 minutes. Despite some of the mentioned negatives, the stay was most relaxing and we only have good memories of quality time spent both inside the room and outside the hotel.

Our first time in Mauritius and would go back to the same hotel. We fully recommend this hotel for a short or long stay. We stayed there for 14 nights. Anywhere we ate the food always nice and the local people are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. The food and drink prices in the restaurants are very reasonable so it's cheap to eat and drink out. On average an evening meal and a few beers and wines for my husband and myself cost between £12 and £24. The sea was nice and calm and very clear to see the fish. Lovely beach to walk along from either side of the hotel. The local supermarket is only a short walking distance from the hotel and a fresh fruit & veg stall right outside the hotel every day. We took a 30 to 40 minute ride in a taxi to a Sugar Cane processing plant which showed you how the local Rum was made and was very interesting if that type of thing appeals to you and another day went on a boat trip for about an hour until we got off on another beach and had a BBQ done for us and plenty to drink and a nice area for swimming.

The room (sea view suite) was large and comfortable and overlooked the beautiful garden and the sea. All the staff were welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived and they did everything possible to make our stay a special experience from the welcoming cocktails to the petals on our bed. Each day we had a breakfast of our choice on the terrace of our room.

Relaxing hotel the room is quite big, very confortable, nice good facilities: gym, nice pool where I've enjoyed an aquagym class... nice restaurant, especially the japanese.

Relaxing, comfortable room and the housekeeping services were excellent. Breakfast was delicious and the Indian roti was a lovely surprise. Enjoyed that it is located in the community rather than a resort quarantined from its surroundings.
