Kilkenny River Court Hotel

The positives: The location was excellent, the breakfast was amazing, and the staff were lovely and exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, making for a good night's sleep.. The meet and greet was lovely at the hotel Thursday night. Parking was good.

The negatives: The TV wasn't working, and the room felt old and musty. There was no air conditioning, and with the warm weather, getting ready for a wedding was quite uncomfortable. The bathroom floor and bathtub are in need of updating. The room itself could benefit from refurbishment, although it was clean and well-maintained, which is a credit to the housekeeping staff. The bed was very comfortable. I also had to leave a day earlier than planned. While I understood that I would still be charged for the unused night, it would have been appreciated if someone had asked about the reason for my early departure or checked whether everything was okay.
