Magnolia Pointe by Palmetto Vacations

The property was overall beautiful. We had to wait to check in when we first got there, kinda of a inconvenience. After that it was smooth sailing. The pool was clean and well kept. Everyone was friendly. The balcony view was gorgeous. I would stay here again if I were to ever come back

We loved Myrtle beach and the condo was clean. The only thing that bothered us is that the dishwasher was broken and had standing water. It made the place smell real bad. I called the office about the problem and did not get a call back. It was not resolved. We hope the next set of people didn’t go through the same thing.

First, when we booked we didn’t know this was a residential condo that rented out empty apartments. The apartment itself was spacious and had a nice view but the cushions were stained and ripped. We were told when booking that works-fi was included. We could not find our WiFi name so we called the office and were first told to call the cable company and pretend we were the owners. After that, we were told a tech person would be over in 10 minutes. We waited over AN HOUR and no one came. No one returned my phone call asking if someone was actually going to come. Finally, no where on booking does it I dictate the office is closed Sunday, our check out date. We had to be out of the apartment by 10 but had no where to put our liggage. additionally, it’s not close to the beach. We had to Uber two and from everyday which was very costly. Look elsewhere when booking your vacation.

The condition of the property was terrible. Slats in the vertical blinds of sliding glass door were missing. The dishwasher wasn't attached to the counter. The shower had black mold. A towel had hair on it. The king size bed didn't have a king size mattress; it had two twins pushed together. The bed had a twin bedspread that didn't even cover the top mattress. The other mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. I called housekeeping/maintenance but no one showed. It's obvious that there's no maintenance done. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money to stay somewhere else.

It was one of the best vacation we have had. Everything was easy to find and near. We sure will be staying there next time

We had an amazing time at Magnolia Pointe. Really could not have asked for a better location- close to all main attractions and shopping malls. The condo we stood in is well kept, clean, nicely furnished. Renters should know that there is NO housekeeping during your stay and that trash needs to be taken out to a nearby dumpster. I will definitely recommend this vacation rental.

This is not a place for a group retreat. There are rules and regulations that are not given until after you arrive! The amenities are not for the those vacationing but geared more toward those who live there year around. This is not a resort at all.

Customer service was great! It was somewhat disappointing because I ask for a condo with a pull out couch but it did not have one. It needed to be updated badly. I really think this condo had not been used since summer for it smelled. The dining room table chairs were loose and wobbly and glass sliding door would not lock. I feel that we should be refunded half our cost back.
