Holiday Garden Hotel & Resort Chiang Mai

A lovely and quite grand looking entrance, which leads to a quite frankly fantastic pool and garden, with the rooms intimately arranged to overlook it. A warm but quite luxurious feel to the whole place. My room was smallish, but much more elegantly designed than rooms I've had for a similar price - and it had a bath, which was a first after three months in Thailand. In particular, I really like a focus on green practices - which I haven't seen in many other places - so there are options about bed and toweling changes, which I think is great. Very friendly and helpful service throughout. The only thing that held my off the five star score was that it is in the flight path for Chiang Mai airport (though this wasn't too intrusive inside the rooms), and it is slightly out of town (though there are still restaurants, a close-by market, and a very upmarket shopping mall nearby - as well as the zoo and Doi Suthep directly on the other side). All in all, a great value place to stay if you want to feel just a little luxurious.

This hotel is a hidden gem in Chiang Mai. Great service from all the staff, helpful and courteous. Great pool and wonderful garden area. Will stay there again!

It has a good location that near to airport and shopping malls, walking distance to MAYA mall and some BBQ restaurant and pub. Not far away got more shopping malls with Taxi. Hotel is old but recent renovated, room is clean and spaciour enough. At least up to a 3 stars standard. I like their fowery garden at the lobby and swimming pool, nice flower and it smells good. I stay 4 days and having breafast there every morning, is western & Chinese style breakfast where you can find porridge and fried rice during breafast. I like their bread alot! it's fresh and soft, tast best with the fruit jam given! Tips to traveller, their bath room has limited supply, just a shower cap, santinary bag, toilet roll,shampoo & shower gel (in big botol). these items not going to replace after you used it ( i did ask also, i believe will replace a if ask)

This hotel is not too far from the airport (by shuttle). And is within walking distance to the Maya mall. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were adequate. Not fancy but nice. Although the meal says it is an international buffet, I would say most of the food was Thai-style. Which is fine. The food was good. The place was quite and had a nice pool and garden We enjoyed out time here

Free hotel shuttle is available between airport and hotel. Just make a booking. There is no counter at airport, meet the van outside. 5-10min walk away from MAYA shopping mall, on the way you will be at the night market too. There’s a decent looking bar just outside the hotel. The room size is good, we added an extra bed to the normal room and we still have enough space. Bathtub is available. Swimming pool looks great. Morning and evening will be a bit too chill to go into water. Breakfast spread is decent too. Coffee is not hot enough not matter how hot it ‘looks’. Staff are friendly. The security at lobby helped me to locate for my private car driver who doesn’t speak much English ever. The area is a little off old town but I think it’s good if you don’t want too much noise from main town.

For our U.K. visit visa application my wife looked at a number of hotels in Chiang Mai area close to VFS building From the outside you may not chose by looks it appears from the 80s but inside is something else Spacious rooms with balcony’s, we got the view towards the mountain which you see in the photos, the bathroom is on the small and cozy side but nice too. The bathtub is deep so perfect for a long soak after exploring Chiang Mai The bed is huge I’m guessing this is what is called king size !! The internal gardens also have a nice looking swimming pool which always sells any hotel to me ;) There’s TV and fridge in the room but no coffee and I’m wondering if that is the reward for writing this review lol But at 1,850 baht for two nights for two people is about £11.00 gbp per night/per person which is an excellent price I definitely would pay more 10/10 so far

Great hotel beds a bit hard. But general great location and beautiful gardens. Staff friendly and helpful
