Friendly, quiet and close to all attractins...beautiful garden

Lovely hotel, beautiful gardens and pool area, great breakfast selection and lovely staff

Pool closed too early. I had to flush my toilet 4 times for every use with no toilet paper in the bowl.

Exceeded all expectations at a great price. The garden is just amazing and the food was way better than I expected. When I return to Chiang Mai I will book this hotel again... it was that nice. A warm and cozy 4 star experience for a 3 star hotel.

Pros: The garden is gorgeous and they keep the pool clean. The staff in the lobby is helpful. Cons: The room and bathroom is in need of a facelift. Flushing the toilet reminded me of being in a locker room. The king bed is two twins pushed together, which means you can feel the lump in the middle. Overall: The area is safe and if you don't mind being in an outdated room because the price is right then this place is for you.

Me and my fiance were very happy with our stay in Holiday Garden, we stayed a few nights in the Tower and one night in Garden room and I strongly advise to get a tower room as it's just a few dollars more, but the views at the city are very pleasant. Garden rooms are also nice inside, but you will stay with the closed curtains all the time as the windows look at the panoramic elevator..The hotel is modern and well decorated. It is close to the old city as well as to the Doi Suthep National Park, but as soon as you enter the gates, you don't hear any city noise have a feel of a hidden resort. Nice swimming pool and absolutely amazing garden. Breakfast is also very good- many choices of Thai and European food. Overall everything was very good and I would love to stay again.

This was my second stay at the Holiday Garden Hotel and it is, on the whole, a very good hotel. I booked a Garden room - assuming that this would be overlooking the pool/garden area. Unfortunately, I drew the short straw and my 'garden room' overlooked the car park at the front and the tiled roof of the next block from the window. I could have coped with this had it not been for the noise of the two LARGE air-conditioning units for one of the conference halls immediately below my window. Owing to the proximity of the next building, there was a constant noise and vibration of fans from 7.30am each morning. When I commented on this in my Check In comments, the hotel did respond and I saw two engineers working on the A/C units. I feel bad having to mention this as the Holiday Garden is a good hotel - but it is only fair to warn customers that a Garden Room may not overlook the pleasant hotel gardens at all!
