Comfort Hotel

The location was ideal, near sites and restaurants, and the price was reasonable. The staff was wonderful in every way.

The hotel's location was excellent. The staff efficient and courteous. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Very nice place - clean and comfy, right in the heart of the city. Highly recommended. I with San Francisco (and broader USA) had something comparable, especially in this price range.

Stayed 8 nights. My first night was facing the street, not too noisy but I really like a quiet room so requested an inside room facing the courtyard when I returned after 2 nights. Ugly view but I didn't care as it was quiet and comfortable. Loved the heated bathroom bars to dry clothes and the heated floor. Enjoyable breakfast and cuppacino machine and tea and coffee available 24 hours. No facilities for preparing hot drinks in the room. Great location, walking distance to Hermitage and St. Isaac's Cathedral. One of the staff didn't realize that there is a ticket machine outside the Hermitage where you can buy tickets and avoid all lines. He suggested I buy a VIP ticket which is over twice the price to avoid huge lines. I found out about the ticket machine from some US guests staying in the hotel. I told the staff member about it so he can advise future guests. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again, friendly staff. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

I had a pleasant stay at Comfort Hotel. It is not that fancy hotel but it has everything you need. The hotel is located at 2nd and 3rd floors of a 5 floors building. Breakfast is at 2nd floor. If you are light sleeper, stay at 3rd floor to avoid morning noise especially those rooms facing the dining area. It has several restaurants outside the building as well, yet no room service is available. Air conditioning is split type not central but quiet and cold.

This would be perfect for a tourist. It is close to the subway station . Walking distance to a lot of history. I was there during the World Cup meeting my wife's sister.

A nice, reasonably priced, well run hotel within walking distance of all the attractions. Not opulent, but strongly recommended for those who do not need opulence.

The facilities of this hotel were very good in general, except in the early morning we arrived the elevator was out of order so we had to carry our luggage up to the reception (2/F) and rooms (3/F) by ourselves via the stairs. The elevator was fixed quickly after we reported it to the hotel staff. The rooms are compact and neat. The twin bed room had a balcony so we could relax there and look at the street (and we saw a girl in cape riding a horse on the road at night like from a fairy tale). The bathroom was nice but the water pressure was a bit small so the water for shower was quite weak; yet it was still very hot. Staff were very helpful. Some weeks before our stay we emailed to the hotel to ask for assistance in reservation for dinner in a local restaurant and staff reacted fast. Breakfast was quite simple but the hotel was generous enough to provide tea and coffee all day. A water kettle in the room, however, is still preferred. Not sure if it would be provided on request. Location was great as it's in the centre of everything. Several 24-hour convenience stores / supermarkets (which also sell vodka and chocolate - mind the time restriction of buying vodka though, it's not 24-hour) were nearby. Check-in and out was easy and straightforward. Will stay here again next time.
