Hotel Venezia

One of the better hotels in Legazpi - upmarket, comfortable and good value. Room was large, clean and good. Bed comfortable. Bathroom good. Restaurant breakfast was good, all as expected. Dinner buffet great and live music too - I love that touch. Pool is good but a bit of a walk up the road. Staff friendly and efficient. Dogs barking in the morning close by a bit of a negative.

The linens particularly the comforter didnt smell good.

This the 3rd hotel i have stayed in at legazpi and by far the worst. After checking in and going to my room the key did not work so back down the stairs as no lift then when i got into my room there were no towels. I called housekeeping and after an hour i went back down stairs to reception and eventualy got some only to discover there was no hot water. The safe didnt work so had to have it changed. On the balcony the water came back up through the tiles when you stood on them. I would not stay here again

The Staff of this Hotel are very nice. They make all efforts to make your stay very special. I will like to mention few names - Ms Nica, Ms Abegail & Ms Bernadette- they really epitomize True Filipino Hospitality.

The hotel is practically a five-minute walk from Legazpi City airport. It is also located inside a secured, private residential area. A bit far from the center of Legazpi, though. The rooms are clean but kind of dated. Internet connectivity was quite good. Very good, inexpensive place to stay for business travelers.

Good location to the airport. We reserved 2 beds but when we checked in they said they were unavailable. Also reserved a ride to the airport but the driver never showed up, had to take a trike or miss my flight.

BEWARE! AVOID AT ALL COST! This place is not what it looks like in the picture! Very misleading information! We waited 45 minutes at the airport and no one was picking us up. I had to find a way to get in touch with the hotel. They don't even know where coming, yet the hotel was less than a minute from the airport. The place is old, untidy, and smelled moldy. We booked a family room and was charged as a family room. We were given a standard room with 2 beds. There were no upgrades in these hotel rooms since built. Scaffoldings usage for renovation is just standing in the lobby with no signs of someone working or using it. The swimming pool cannot be found inside the hotel premises as it is not even owned by the hotel. They will tell the guest that the swimming pool is under treatment so the guest will not look for it. The next morning my husband tried to locate the pool as we are supposed to stay for 5 days with our 2 teenage kids. He was told to cross the road and go through a residential area as instructed, yet still no swimming pool to be found. He finally gave up and returned to the hotel as he felt like trespassing in the area. That's when we decided to leave the hotel but cannot be refunded as Expedia charged my credit card way before we arrive. We tried to contact Expedia but no one to be reached. It was a terrible first day of our visit to Legaspi! I lost $835.00 Canadian for nothing! I am not the only victims in this hotel, some guest comes in rage and complaint.

Stayed there last June 1-2 .. Check in was smooth. The hotel looks like a mansion. It doesnt have an elevator. But for us its ok because we stayed on the 2nd floor. The room is big. Breakfast is okay.. The pool is outside the building. 40m away. I think its the clubhouse pool because its a village. We didnt swim because its not clean, no caretakers, the pool has small cockroaches swimming on it. Housekeeping took about an hour because we ask for a towel. No towel when we arrived. Good thing they have free shuttle service to the airport. Nice hotel.
