Location is good, near the Brisbane city area. Apartment is spacious. A bottle of wine and a box of chocolate as a greeting Christmas gift.

Hygiene was a serious issue throughout our stay. On the first night, we found a cockroach in the kitchen. We contacted the after-hours staff and were only given an insect spray. There was no apology or expression of concern. Instead, the staff member emphasised that it had not been there during their last check and suggested it may have come from outside, which felt dismissive and implied we were responsible. No alternative apartment was offered, and there was no follow-up at any point during our six-day stay. Beyond this, general cleanliness was poor. The dishwasher and hand towel had a very strong mouldy smell. The rangehood was covered in residual oil, indicating it had not been cleaned properly for some time. The bathroom basins had visible stains and were not clean. There were also large dead insects clearly visible inside the ceiling light, which had obviously been there for a while. Overall, the lack of cleanliness combined with the indifferent response from staff made the stay disappointing. Hygiene standards and customer service both need significant improvement.

Very helpful staff even though not on site given that it was a public holiday answered our phone calls promptly and provided clear information needed.

Not really a big thing but would have been good to have salt and pepper in the apartment.
