Mariann Travel Inn Scottsburg

Horrible! I rely on Hotels.com to provide honest details about places but this one was the worst. It was late, I was tired, but I felt unsafe and had to move furniture in front of the door for security. Old metal framed bed, filthy walls and carpet. And the smell! Meth heads in the parking lot. Horrible! Even they think they’re horrible! They have a sign that says “No refunds after 15 minutes “ posted!!!

We was there 4 days. They never came by to give us fresh towels or take out the trash.

Poorly ran. Inadequate supplies such as washcloths and towels. Inattentive staff. Musty smell in the room.

For the amount of money I paid, what a rip off. The lamp shade was busted & there was no lightbulb. The one working light was dim at best. The shower was absolutely disgusting. There was no Wi-Fi, so the description is a lie. The staff member who checked me in called earlier, threatening to cancel my reservation because I was going to check in, as I intended, around 11 p.m. No breakfast as the description said. The shades didn't really work. Would NEVER recommend this dump.

Looked like a crime scene in and @ the room and property!!!! Extremely overpriced!!! Absolute dump

It was amazing and the night clerk took his time and was very helpful and kind to me on what was a very difficult night. I appreciate his kindness so much.

No one was in the office when i arrived. I had to call a number to get someone. The place was dirty and run down inside and out. Did not feel safe there, felt like i was being watched by people hanging around outside of rooms and riding bikes around the building. I pushed the chair against the door for safety. Bathtub did not drain during shower. Literal dirty handprints on the wall, yet i was told they would keep my deposit if they found any dog hair in the room from my dog… first and last time!!

There was clearly prostitution going on at this place. I took one drive around parking lot and did not stay. Very sketchy/ scary place. Take off of your site.

It was not a good experience!!!
