The Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm

Our first time in Vermont and we are certain we could not have found a better place to stay. The Inn was better than described and even more beautiful in person. The room and bed where extremely comfortable. The breakfast was so good, some of the best scrambled egg I have ever had. When we are back in that area we will stay again. If you are looking for New England charm this is the place!

Julia Child celebrated her 85th birthday at this Inn. The ambience is.relaxed, historic and comfortable. Restaurant dinner was superb. Pleasant and helpful staff.

Downstairs tavern space has wonderful character. Upstairs room was large w/ wide board floors, and simple, clean furnishings. Very comfortable and quiet! We walked the trail across the street for beautiful views of river and gorge. Easy to get to nearby towns for great food and breakfast at the Inn was delicious w/ very attentive staff!

We were very disappointed with everything. The room bed was soft and uncomfortable and poorly equipped with old outdated AC, ironing board, (everything ). The complementary hot breakfast was of poor quality, dinner for top rated restaurant was also of poor quality. Outdoor furniture on upper level and by the fire pit was not clean. For the price of the stay this location is way overpriced. We almost left the same evening due to poor ventilation in the room which cause me to cough through the night. The best part of the stay was the wine selection which was very good and proximity to Dartmouth. We will be not we will not be returning nor will we be recommending the end to Friends. This facility needs substantial updating. It’s not even close to rustic. It’s a complete fraud of description on line.

Quaint New England Inn with all the expected charm. The staff was super friendly and the included breakfast the next morning was just what we needed. Would definitely consider staying again on a future trip.

Ideal place for a stay at an 18th century inn outside a small New England town, with friendly attentive staff and fine dining as well.

We loved staying at a historic inn built in 1793! The room with its flowered wallpaper and high bed was very nice and fit with the historic theme. The included breakfast the next day was delicious with options of choices from a menu ( eggs, bacon, pancakes etc) as well as a selection of serve-yourself breads, toast, cereals, coffee cakes, and fruit. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We were very happy staying at the Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm.

We had a wonder few days at tge Inn. The food and service are excellent. It is nice to stay in an old renovated Inn. Highly recommend!
