Nova Samui Resort

The desk staff were nice and polite, and seemed concerned when they detected something might be wrong, although this was such a creepy experience that my wife was not comfortable opening up to them about it.

The hotel was badly lit in the shared areas and overall not very clean. But worse than that, the porter who took my wife to her room acted like he was high on drugs, then when they reached her room, asked her to transfer him 50 baht from her bank account (!?!?), and when she said she couldn't, he asked again for 50 baht in cash instread. This is extremely rude and scared her, being a solo female traveller, so I bought her a new hotel room elsewhere and told her to leave immediately.

Rooms were clean and spacious with a nice balcony area. Pool area was clean with plenty of sunbeds. Staff were friendly. Location was good with bars and restaurants nearby.

Could hear the music from either the pool area or over the road quite clearly in the room late at night. Didn’t bother us too much but maybe a nuisance for some.

The cleaners bathroom was a disgrace no chemicals were used to clean bathroom sheets were never changed through out ny stay , complain a few times and thats the only time they done anything, , no facilities to eat or drink at the resort all though they had a bar And restaurant but was closed all the time i was there So when i said i want to check out early they said i will not be refunded any money as i was booked in for 30 days and paid up in full. So wont be staying there again

Great location. 10 min walk to beach and near the central samui mall. If you’re on a budget it will do. Not the worst

Pool literally died our swimming costumes yellow so be careful 😂 the whole hotel in general could use some renovation. Parts of it looks abandoned which is odd as there was a gardener outside every morning.

The staff didn’t help me at all, the website says they give residents free rides to the beach’s and the lady at the front just told me No when I asked about it. It’s more of a hotel than resort with a swimming pool. They don’t offer anything a resort would like food/drinks. You will hear loud music all night as if the club is in the resort. I would not recommend staying here, it’s very overpriced for what they offer.
