There were a few things missing (eg, bathmat, egg flipper, paring knife) but these were all provided during the complimentary mid-stay cleaning. The apartment was spacious, clean and very well located. Loved the lappool and hot tub.

The whole experience was bad

3 days before arrival I received a text message saying it was a public holiday and if I text them my drivers license they will then send self check in instructions prior to my arrival. I did not receive any instructions, I arrive at the location, another man was trying to check in, he received his instructions (but there were no keys in the key safe) Both of us called the after hours mobile and they did not respond. Residents who live at the property were kind enough to get in contact with Rob (on a different mobile number) and boom, they appeared as if it was a magic show. They were on premises the whole time. Rob was extremely rude and condescending and harped on about how it was a public holiday over and over (maybe don't book people in, if you don't want to work) I was sitting there almost crying as I thought I'd been ripped off. Money was taken on the Monday before my arrival, I was thinking I had no accommodation. So, by the time I was able to check in, I was pretty fragile. Anyway, get to my room. It's very dated and not much resembles what I thought I was paying almost $300 a night for. I turn on the air conditioning and there is a continuous loud whistling noise (so loud you can hear in the hallway) my room was extremely hot as it faced the western sun. I almost was going to check out and go home. But I was there for my birthday and wanted a relaxing time. Of an evening, you can hear dogs barking, a lot of residents have dogs in apartments it seems, I even saw a Doberman in the lift. I did not complain to management, I just put up and shut up as I knew I'd only be gaslighted. I will never stay here again, not even if it was half the price. The property was well located for my needs, as I was travelling to the Gold Coast hospital every day, and the tram is right across the road. There is also a supermarket across the road and a few restaurants within very easy walking distance. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The gym is well equipped.

The pool is apparently heated and I would have liked to try it but it was being repaired while I was there.
