Aloft by Marriott Richmond West Short Pump

The hotel/room was wonderful! Great location too! Great staff greeted us and our room was clean and very comfortable. We’ll stay again for sure Thank you…..

i was a little concerned about the recent negative reviews, but I am happy to say that we had a great stay at this hotel. The hotel was clean and quiet. Our room was really nice and very comfortable. they allowed us to bring our small dog without the typical exorbitant fee at other hotels. we loved the location as it was in the residential section of short pump and not in the middle of the mall like other hotels we stayed at. the middle of the mall are noisy and crowded, but the Aloft was much better for the money. we wil stay there again when in richmond

The decor is outdated. I would recommend changing the main scent also. Parking was easy and location was great.

Except for the noise in the hallway, my stay was great. The checkin went smoothly, the staff is nice, and the location is amazing.

I was agast that the representative at the front desk could not give me a room when I walked in. He said to sit in the lobby on my phone and reserve a room online. My email address that was registered with Bonvoy was stuck in a digital nightmare and I couldn’t log onto my account. I then went onto Expedia to get my room. The entire hour the front desk rep knew I wanted and needed a room but he was simply a face hired by Aloft…to do what? Not helpful. In the morning the new representative at the front desk was amazing. Five stars for her. The housekeeping staff 5star. I witnessed other guests not happy with things but I understand that’s hearsay. If this place wasn’t right next to ACAC I wouldn’t stay here again.

The shares areas were not clean.. especially the fitness center and the stairway entrance No water in fitness center
